Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

Mistletoe Kisses is a sweet romance of two friends who grew up together. Justin is wrangled into playing Santa while Lilly is reporting on the town’s Christmas events. She needs this story to help make her way home again. Justin’s mother and sister are interested in making sure these two get together. Lilly spent a lot of time with Justin’s family growing up and is friends with his sister.

Justin was leary of forming a relationship with Lilly because of her relationship with his sister. Even more than that, he did not want to put any woman through the life his mom lived as a police officer’s wife. He seemed to have some anxiety issues in connection with tight places and crowds.

Lilly is charming and full of life. She is constantly encouraging Justin to be a better person as she helps with collecting toys and recording Christmas. She and Justin take a sweet interest in a family who lost their dad due to his military service.

One charming aspect of this tale is Justin’s home. It’s was his grandmothers and is filled with a lot of pink and doilies. He kept his man card with his hidden man cave basement. All in all, this is a good book to cuddle up with for the Christmas holidays for a light-hearted read.

I voluntary downloaded to read and review for free Mistletoe Kisses from Entangled Publishing LLC. This is the first book I have read by Marnie Blue. But it wont be the last. I loved this story-line and the flow this book created. It was a book for almost every reader. Its setting is around Christmas time but this story line can be read anytime and anywhere. This book is the first in a Love Struck read. There is a second book the author Marnie Blue is writing and it sounds amazing to. You will fall in love with the characters Justin, Santa, O"Rourke, Lilly, Hannah and Mom. This story will just get you into the giving spirit it will want to help others. You will cheer on these characters but also feel their pain. Their is not bad language or sexual issues that you will need to worry about for younger readers.

If you are looking for a sweet, clean Christmas short story, this is for you. Reminds me of a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie.

Justin and Lilly, his sister's best friend, have to work together on a feel-good story for the holidays so he's playing Santa and she's his elf. Problem: he hates Christmas. Lilly tries to show Justin how wonderful the holiday season can be. Now, as they're working together, they begin to realize that Lilly isn't so little anymore and Justin is may be more that her best friend's older brother.

Lilly is charming and full of happiness and just wants to be close to the people that she considers to be her real family. Justin didn't impress me in the first few chapters and only improved a little throughout the story. Maybe a longer story would have helped flesh him out a little more.

There's an excerpt for the next story about Kevin, Justin's partner. Looking forward to reading his story.

A sweet and charming Christmas story that isn’t by any means deep, but it is quite entertaining. There’s plenty of feel good, warm fuzzies thrown together with humor and snark. At times the dialog was a bit stilted, but I found as the story progress that seemed to dissipate. What the characters lacked in depth and dimension, their shared history and familiarity picked up the slack and created an odd sort of dynamic that seemed to work for the overall storyline.

This ARC book was complimentary, provided by the Publisher and NetGalley. I am voluntarily providing my honest review.

3.5 stars

A holiday romance that feels a little like a Hallmark movie. They suck me in every year at the holidays, and the likeness made Wrapped Up in You a fun read.

Justin is not happy to be playing the role of Santa for the police department. He's even less happy when he finds out the reporter he's working with is his younger sister's childhood best friend., Lilly.

There were a few plot points that didn't feel quite realistic with Justin's job and Lilly's news stories. Since the holidays are all about the magic and goodwill for others, though, they made the book fun.

The ending felt a tad rushed, but overall a nice Christmas story to get you in the holiday spirit.

This was a sweet and cute read, I had some issues with it but all in all I enjoyed it. Christmas settings are always fun for me, I love to read about the surroundings and atmosphere of this season. There were many laugh out moments and the banter between the two was really cute. Lilly reminding Justin of an angry squirrel kept me smiling throughout the book. These two have history, but Justin's interpretation of the past was a bit annoying. He seemed like a child about it all even to this day. Because the story was on the shorter side, we didn't get too much of what Justin went through to cause him to be so against a relationship. It was heartbreaking to read the hurtful things he said to Lilly, it is not the worst I've read but still mean. The only redeeming part was how they got their HEA. It was right up Lilly's alley.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is a quick, sweet read, with emphasis on the sweet part. If you like clean, feel-good Christmas stories, then you'll like this one. It's the kind of story that would make a great Hallmark Christmas movie. Because it's a quick read, it's a little tough to develop much connection with the characters, but they are still likeable, and the angst level is pretty low, so it's an enjoyable read.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Entangled/Lovestruck for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. All opinions are my own. I didn't really connect with the characters. I found Justin to be a whiner and have a chip on his shoulder. Blaming Lilly for the past, when they were both young. I believe that this is part of a series. It reads well as a stand alone. Maybe I am a bag humbug not sure but I am sure many will love this book. I found it just ok. I give it a 3.5.
