I'm finally catching up on some of the books I've been putting off! Coming of age stories are some of my favorites, I think. I loved that this book had such diverse points of view and from different decades too.

I’m not normally one for anthology books, but I’m glad I gave this a chance. I related to a number of the stories and felt all could reach someone out there. It was nice to see diverse representation.

I am reviewing a copy of Firsts: Coming of Age Stories by People With Disabilities.
There were parts of this book I loved and parts I certainly could have done without. The stories in this book deal with first adventures, first heartbreaks as well as the first time the unexpected comes into your life.
This book collects the most thought provoking a nd exciting stories about those with disabilities.
I give Firsts Three out of five stars
