Lachlan does whatever he can to help his people. Katherine did not realize what she had in her father's home until she sees how Lachlan's clan lives. Katherine has feelings for Lachlan and asks if he would marry her. Lachlan needs to think about the proposal Katherine has offered, knowing the wrath her father could bring to the MacTavish clan. Still, he agrees to the marriage, which angers several people. Katherine and Lachlan will have to overcome several obstacles if they want to remain wed. Still, temptation is a powerful adversary and only a love that is true can overcome the difficult challenges that lay ahead.
