Everyone gone through breakup so this book was really relatable a lot ways. Comics are really cute and lovely. Only problem i had is writing are little blurry so some parts i couldn't read it.
This is a book that will probably do best if self-selected by someone who has recently experienced heartache. For myself, it's been a while, so although I could distantly recall these emotions and issues, I did not need to meditate on them as this book calls you to do. It's also a hard book to really recommend to someone, as I can see myself getting in trouble for the recommendation-- "Hey! You may really like this book. It's about dating and heartbreak." "WHY, YOU THINK I'M NOT OVER HIM YET???" But for someone in the depths of despair after getting hurt, I can see the value in this, especially the comics and bits about self-acceptance and discovering yourself again.
While the images did not come through in my download, the text was enjoyable. A cleverly and enjoyably plotted book.
I enjoyed Emma’s experience of breakups because it certainly feels like the end of the world, which she captures perfectly. I am (one hopes) past that point in my life where a break up would happen, but goes to show you never really know.
One thing I really enjoyed was as she experiences the struggles of getting back to her whole self, she leaves pages for the reader to self reflect with her. She leaves space for charts, pictures, or lists of what the reader could be experiencing which makes this book really valuable for those who are heartbroken and need more interaction. It’s great, would suggest to others.
