I received Bad Faith as a review copy from NetGalley. Unfortunately I could not finish this book. I was very intrigued by the topic. I was not aware that there were anti-communist investigations prior to McCarthyism. While I was interested in the topic the writing was so dry that I could not stay engaged with the story. It was very academic in nature so if you are not a big non-fiction reader you might have trouble with this one.
