This is my first read by this author and I really enjoyed it. There is romance, suspense, mystery, and humor. The writing is fast paced and keeps things moving. The characters are fun and interesting. I really look forward to more of the DeLuca family!
A sexy cop and a woman with too much time on her hands leads to an intriguing story filled with romance and danger. I had great fun reading this book, it was good to see a cop already beat up by the job (to a degree) before getting embroiled deeper in a romance and a case that had you wondering what would happen next. Well worth a read and i would be interested to read the authors other books at some point
I really enjoyed Watch over by Amy Reece. It was a romantic suspense/cop meets girl almost next door with some fun moments, The playful start with the cat was cute, and I loved Finn's family. The chemistry was great between Finn and Melanie, and there was no dull moments in the book. I am definitely going to keep reading this series! I received an ARC for an honest review from Netgalley.
Melanie Blythe has a past and consequently likes to keep to herself she is quite happy with her career and writing her books but when a cat keeps coming to visit via her dog door she is intrigues. She places a collar and a message on the cat so begins her banter with her neighbour two doors down. When he informs her he has a broken leg she goes to visit to see if he needs anything. Finn DeLuca is a detective and is instantly attracted to Melanie but it doesn't take any detective skills to work out he will have to go slow if he wants any relationship with her to say she is gun shy is an understatement. Now with odd occurrences happening in her life and the danger escalating it will be up to Finn to keep her safe and during this time she will have to learn to trust him. There are plenty of twists and turns with Melanie stalker keeping the reader enthralled till the very last page I highly recommend this book
I was given a copy of this book but this is true and honest review
Really great writing, it kept me interested throughout the book. I would read more of this author s books
A cute and entertaining meet between the main characters, two adorable pets, a bit of suspense. Overall nice story.
Watch Over by Amy Reece combines romance & thriller themes in an intricately wound web. Melanie is a shy and introverted author who works from home, Finn is an injured police officer combined to his home & CJ is a feisty cat who is intent on getting the two together.
I really enjoyed this book as it was a great balance of thriller and romance. Both characters were charming and easy to love. The 'bad guy' in this story could have had a bit more of a lead in/development as it seemed to come from something so simple.
Fans of Thrillers/Romance will love this book. Easy to read and easily read in one setting it left me with a feeling of contentment once I finished it.
Great!
Finn and Mel have an adorable meet cute and a super sweet love story with a few "bumps" along the way. I really enjoyed this book.
I voluntarily read an advanced copy.
This is a pure romance book. It is well written story that flows easily. From a budding romance to mystery this book contains many elements that work together.
To be perfectly honest I didn't finish this book. The writing is choppy and disjointed. It's almost difficult to follow. They're sad no character development and the story had no flow. As cutesy as the writing is it makes the cover totally not match.
Melanie Blythe, a graphic artist and loner, has a feline visitor each morning. One morning the cat shows up with a witty, charming note attached to its collar. It's from Melanie's neighbor, Finn, a detective who is home on leave recovering from an accident. She learns that the cat visits him each afternoon and evening and they begin passing notes via cat collar. Their banter gets cuter and cuter and eventually they meet and sparks fly.
Only someone is watching and someone seems to hate Mel. Who is it? Why? And what will they do next?
Finn's boisterous, loving, funny family is a complete bonus and I am so glad that there will be more DeLuca Family adventures to follow.
Thanks to Netgalley and Amy Reece for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Watch over me is a clean romance in the since that there is no graphic sex scenes but there is swearing.
Watch over me has the right amount of humor, romance mystery, family and love that will keep readers wanting more after they finish book one!
Amy Reece is able to create very likable characters who come to life as their lives are thrown together all because of a cat. The story has a very even flow that feels nautral as their relationship moves quickly though the story. This is a perfect book to curl up on the couch and enjoy the please of reading. The characters are fun, life like and a family everyone would want to be apart of and not be apart of.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publsher Limitless Publishing LLC for the Advance copy of Amy Reece Watch over me.

In this contemporary romance, two people find each other one with the help of a stray cat. Story elements are familiar; one of the couple blessed with a close, loving and supportive family, each member interesting and wonderful, while the other is alone. There is a partner, a cranky neighbour, an old but loveable dog, and one little mistake. A fatal attraction provides suspense. All this together with a light-hearted writing style make an engaging, easy read.
Disclosure: I received a review copy of Watch Over free via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
This was such a cute and romantic story. I fell in love with Mel and Finn. The way that they met was so adorable and funny. I love the chemistry between the two main characters and the mystery and suspense made it a fantastic book. Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to read this book.
The writing style is very engaging and very quickly I wanted to read on to see how the main characters relationship develops. It was predictable in places however I enjoyed reading this. I very much enjoyed the ending and felt it was very fitting. A good read to enjoy that is not too taxing to read.
Would be keen to read more from the author.
This story begins with a stray cat, which is spending time with 2 different neighbors. Finn an injured police officer begins sending notes attached to the cat's collar to Melanie. Due to different circumstances, both characters are home all day/night. This was a quick easy read. Old fashioned note exchanging, mystery/suspense and romance. One down-side is that it is written in 3rd person and I just don't care for that type of writing style. Otherwise, it is a sweet story.
Very enjoyable read, good romantic suspense novel with somewhat predictable ending (figured out who and why) but still interesting. I received an e-book from NetGalley in return for an unbiased review.
This is a good mystery romance, good plot, to the point, I locked my bedroom doors, the minute my husband left for work! It is creepy! I love Finn, the detective, Melanie, the designer, and Romance Writer! I fell in love with his family, and cannot wait until the next book!
I highly recommend! Thanks!
