Undcover the Secrest of the Bible Prophecy is a interesting read for anyone who has read the bible.
The author writes the books in steps first reminding people to read the bible, next he uses basic approaches to interpretation of the bible and the prophecy, and last why why we should study Bible.
For those who are religious and want to understand the bible and what this man feels is the word of good as well as what the bible Prophecies. Than you will find enjoyment in this book. If you are looking for religion but only see the bible and history or a good story this will not be what you are looking for.
The author write very simplistic almost to the point of dumding down information for those who might have a better knowledge or already understand the teaching of the bible.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of Jeff Kinley Uncovering the Secrets of Bible Prophecy
This book was such an encouragement. I found it to be a great reminder to focus more on God’s Word. He reminds us that there are deceivers out there. Then he points out the simple steps God has provided so that we are not lead astray by them. That what the first part of this book is about, encouraging us to study the Bible, in its entirety, for ourselves. He gives us a few ground rules for properly interpreting Scripture, as well.
The next section helps us study that, much misunderstood and neglected portion of God’s Word, prophecy. He explains the basic approaches to interpretation and the varying theories about the order of events. The main goal is to get us to study it for ourselves, so there aren’t a lot of details. Instead, there are just the highlights or mountaintops included to guide us in our own study.
The last section of this book is devoted to showing us why we should study Biblical prophecy. It shows us the motivation, joy, encouragement, and purification such a study brings us.
I will recommend this book to every new believer or any believer that is wondering why prophecy should be important to them. It is wonderful.
Please let me recommend it to you.
