I loved Turning Point! Danielle Steel delivers another 5 star book. Turning Point features a storyline that is current to our world today. It follows the lives of four doctors from San Francisco as they travel to Paris for a month to learn from the emergency response teams there. Steel writes beautifully and expertly captures the human emotions. I highly recommend Turning Point.

Let me start by saying I love Danielle Steel. I have been a fan of hers since I read Zoya as a teenager. This book was no different but it did start out a little slow for me. I felt the introduction to all of the characters was a little bit drawn out and almost had me stop reading before I got into the heart of the story. The only other reason I rated a 4 versus a 5 was because I felt it was unfinished. I wanted to know what happened with the characters after the visits were all completed. The story spent so much time building up their individual stories, yet we know nothing about how anyone's really ended.
The story surrounds 4 San Francisco doctors who are chosen to travel to Paris where they meet with doctors and other emergency personnel to learn about and work to improve their emergency management system. After they arrive, they are met with an immense tragedy which affects them all tremendously. The story is not all doom and gloom however! There are intricate love stories, stories of struggle and heartbreak...Each character really does have their own place within the story and it plays out beautifully.

Turning Point is the latest Danielle Steel novel. It's about four San Francisco doctors who embark on an exchange program with French doctors. While in Paris they aid in a deranged shooter and one of the doctors starts a furious affair. I got lost in the medical stuff. My least favorite character was Stephanie. I bought she was rather spineless and vacuous. Although it's a decent read, this one lacks the usual vibrancy of Steel's normal writing and the characters seemed mechanical.

This was a wonderful Danielle Steel book. It was aboiut 4 American trauma doctors and 4 doctors from France. The Americans wentt to France to learn their procedures and in the middle of their visit a school shooting happened and it was horrible but handled as well as it could be. During the visit all of the Americans became friends with or started a relationship with a fellow docor. Most had relationship issues from home. The doctors from France came over for 4 weeks to learn our procedures. As usual in a Steel book, peoples lives intertwined and resolved perfectly. I got this book from NetGalley for an honest review. Highly recommend

I’ll be honest that Danielle Steel is generally something I classify as my “guilty pleasure” reading. Turning Point, however, holds on to the core relationships that are hallmarks of her writing, but she also grapples with contemporary issues like domestic terrorism and the role of first responders. The lives of the eight doctors are artfully interwoven. Matt thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

Iconic Author Danielle Steel does it again with a great story. This story is about four trauma surgeons . I love reading stories set in the medical field and this one was so good. Sad at times, but so well written, The author does a magnificent job at writing stories and characters that find hope in even the darkest of hours.
I very much enjoyed this book and would highly recomend it.

TURNING POINT by Danielle Steel is truly a book of our times. With all the upheaval the not only the U.S., but other Countries as well. We can all relate to Emergency preparedness and it's importance. I also think we all reach a point in our lives where our life must change. Our own 'Turning point' when we want something more in our lives. Danielle Steel is an amazing author and as always takes my breath away with her insight.

Another winner from one of my favorite authors! 8 main characters; 4 American doctors and 4 French doctors, all characters with flaws. The story is a fast moving romance (or multiple) romances. I loved all of the characters with the exception of Gabriel, and I honestly think we were suppose to see his character flaws from the start. Thankfully his love interest, Stephanie finally did too. Loved the final outcomes. I liked that the story had many current issues included-terrorist attack, mass shootings, fire. Thank you to the author, the publisher, and Net Galley for the opportunity to read the advanced copy. I enjoyed it so much.

Turning Point was a quick and entertaining read. It focuses on group of four San Francisco trauma physicians who visit PRis for four weeks to study their system. They meet and work with four French physicians who visits San Francisco following the Americans visit to Paris. The storyline follows the relationships created between the physicians and their existing relationships. The physicians each reach a turning point or crossroads in their life, and the story delves into the decisions they make.

I have always been a fan of Danielle Steele and jumped at the chance to read and review this book. What a mistake! I didn’t even finish the book. Seemed like the first few chapters were spent introducing the MANY characters. Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for my digital arc. This is my unbiased review.

Danielle Steel does it again. A solid 4 star read. The subject matter may be a trigger for some, dealing with school shootings, infidelity and international terrorism. The story was well written, the characters likable, yet flawed.
A unique story with several intertwined sub plots, that kept me turning pages until the very end.

Thank you to Net Galley and Random House Publishing Group for the chance to read and review this book.
This book was typical Danielle Steel. It was the story of eight people involved in the medical field-four from the United States and four from Paris. The four US doctors go to Paris to learn how they handle major disasters and then the four doctors from Paris come to the US to learn how disasters are handled at US hospitals. Even though there are some major disasters involved, the doctors just seemed more interested in their personal problems instead of helping the people hurt in these tragedies. I didn't really like the characters because there was just too much focus on their petty problems. .It was just ok for me.

This story line is different from what she usually writes. It deals with school shooting which leaves a lot of children dead. It also has 8 main characters, 4 American Doctors and 4 French doctors. This story deals with contemporary problems that is being faced every day

For Danielle Steele fans, this book won’t disappoint. Usually her books concentrate on a central character; this novel actually has eight! The book centers around4 American and 4French doctors who deal with terrible traumas...whether it is school shootings, terrorists, or climate related tragedies. She did lots of research andyou feel you are there throughout the entire book.

A standard Steel book that includes romantic relationships, contemporary issues and a good paced read. In this story 4 doctors from America and 4 doctors from France are engaged in a program to share best practices and develop strategies for responding to tragedies - fires, mass shootings, terrorist attacks, etc. The overall topic was interesting to read about and it was easy to get to know the 8 main characters and watch relationships grow, irritate, and reach resolution.

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me read this fabulous ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thought provoking and romantic...This is a different direction for Danielle Steel's book. This book follows the lives of eight doctors from Paris and California. The story has real drama for that is very much relevant in our world, whether it be from the medical stand point or the threat of society. "Turning Point" did not stray far from Ms. Steel signature romance. It has just the right romance in it and not go over the top. It's something to me is new about this book. The story explores real life, in which, I can actually relate to some of the characters. The book explores the struggle of basic human need to balance life and career. It does somewhat is true to bias as the fact that women has a harder time balancing it. I can't wait for her next book.

Danielle Steel does not disappoint with her latest book Turning Point. Packed with romance when four American doctors are selected for a special conference on Emergency Medical Management where there is sharing of knowledge by these highly trained medical professionals that is held in Paris for four weeks. Romance flourishes, and continues when the four physicians from Paris return to the United States for another four weeks. The story moves fast, and is one that all Danielle Steel followers are sure to enjoy!
