Definitely not what I was expecting. This is more a script than a book. The dialogue is even written out like a script (example: "Madie: Good morning, Jet."). All non-dialogue is written like basic character descriptions and stage blocking (example: "Jet wakes up in his room").

Sorry, even my love of LEGO, the inspiration for these stories, can't bring me to even finish the book.

This, for some reason, just cracked me up "Jet stands up and tiredly walks out of his bed." So, what? He stands up in the middle of his bed and walks out of it?

I was, thankfully, given an ARC via Netgalley for this book for my honest review.

This book works as an engaging example of heroic action. The dialogue works well, and I appreciated the personal introduction.
