I enjoyed this fun, sweet, romance story. Thea and Mike are long time best friends from high school that went their separate ways for college, then ended up back where it all started. They are afraid to be more than friends with fear of losing their friendship, even though Mike wants to be more than just friends.
This one was super cute. A friends to lovers romance with a Christmas theme! My favorite! I really enjoyed it and it was perfect reading for a chilly night. I received an ARC for an honest review.
I enjoyed this story, I found it to be a good filler inner between series. Good for just curling up and settling in for the night. I enjoyed the way the author wrote and will look at the authors other work,
SNOWLICIOUS by Leigh Lavalle is a sweet short story. Mike and Thea are best friends that are afraid to take another step in their relationship. Not wanting to ruin their long lasting friendship.
"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."
Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

Overall: 3 stars!
Snowlicious was a cute and romantic story of crossing the bridge from friend zone to lovers. Forsythia (a.k.a. Thea) and Mike have been best friends since the day they became neighbors in 9th grade. High school, and life after, brought them apart and put them through many changes. However, friends again, they consider each other their “person”.
With such a great friendship at stake how can either of them expose the truth in how they feel?
As Mike helps Thea on a revenge Christmas tree expedition, in an effort to beat her ex in a competition, their feelings for each other can not remain under wraps.
What I enjoyed about Snowlicious : This story was a super cute and easy read! It is a novella so you can literally read it in one sitting and get all the christmas-y, lovey, feels. The story line is easy to follow and you’re cheering for their relationship from chapter one!
What I did not care for: is main character Thea. She just kind of annoyed me. While Mike was sweet, charming, and caring, Thea was kind of rude and trying too hard. I didn’t relate well to her. Also, be warned that this book is pretty R-rated. It is a Romance novella!
Really cute Christmas love story about two lifelong friends finding love with each other while possibly risking their friendship to pursue each other.
Cute story. The sexual content was mild - no heavy breathing. The story is about best friends who have easch pined for eachother throughout their friendship. Mike though just started having feelings for Thea in the last 6 months - Thea has always secretly been in love with Mike. Thea just got devorced, and her ex-husban has just stolen her entry for the yearly Christmas tree contest. Mike decides to save the day and fire his bosses sister - who was last years first place winner for the Festivel of Christmas Trees contest, and allow Thea to strp in and decorate the firm's Christmas tree. Their yoga instructor knows that the two are destined for eachother - but both are playing it safe. I don't want to give the ending away - so read the story to find out for yourself.
Whoa, bad timing!
I'd hate men too right now.
She's upset, and he's horny.
His life sounds lonely.
We really are old.
She's too independent for me.
They have been friends forever, they both have it bad for each other. But both Mike and Thea hesitate. Finally it happens, can they be friends and lovers and be forever?
Snowlicious, what a great title for a winter romance! This is a friends-to-lovers holiday novella, that captures the magic of the season with desire, warmth and lots of snow. I enjoy stories about couples that find themselves "snowed-in" due to bad weather, and author Leigh Lavelle is able to execute the theme with ease.
Thea and Mike are best friends, but they yearn to be more. Thea is a florist and every Christmas she enters the Festival of Trees competition via one of her clients. Unfortunately and maliciously, Thea's ex-husband steals her spot from right under her nose. Unbeknownst to Thea, Mike pulls a few strings, which enables Thea to enter the competition with her tree representing Mike's law firm. Together, they head north to find and chop down the perfect tree. The predicted snowstorm moves in much quicker than they expected, and they spend the night together.
The pretty cover and book blurb drew me into this quick-paced novella. Thea and Mike are a hot couple, and the author evolves their relationship quite seductively. Overall, a solid holiday read that will leave you smiling.
Complimentary copy provided by the publisher via NetGalley.
Great christmas read and the second book in this series that I have read. Mike is trying to get out of the friend zone, but Thea seems intent on keeping him there. As things start to progress between the two of them, could it be over beofre it begins after she finds he has kept a secret from her?
A fun, sweet, and sexy Christmas romance novella. Mike and Thea are best friends, and they both want something more, but are afraid of what might happen. When Mike finally decides to give it a go, the snow flies. Short and sweet, a quick read to get you in the mood for the holiday.
