This was a light quick erotic read and something you could get through in a day or two pending on how quickly you devour books. The concept is about the city of Boston has been taken over by an underground cult of sex zombies. The male lead is stuck in this world as a slave to the zombies sexual desires and is trying to get free from their grasps. If you are looking for a trashy, detailed and in your face sex...pick this one up. However, if you are looking for a romantic story that has a slow sextural build up.....then run from this book.
GUYS! I wasn’t ready for this lol also I didn’t know it’s book two so I gotta read the first book.
I think that it’s cool that Hayden wants to be a high profile reporter and he’s trying to be apart of this zombie world, but I’m still missing why he’s their pet. Maybe easy prey lol.
I liked the book even though I don’t normally read that many books with a lot of sex in it, but I was intrigued. Although I gotta admit it was kinda weird to picture zombies having sex haha.
Thank you Netgally for this read.
Thanks to the publisher and to NetGalley for the copy of this book.
I wanted to like this but it was not for me. I put the book down about 25% into the book. I normally try to finish books but with as many ARC's that I am getting from NetGalley and publishers, I am moving on from those that do not interest me or catch my attention.
I loved the writing and the plot so much that I went back and read the first book. I enjoy zombies, I love romance and erotica. But I discovered that I do not enjoy the the description of sex with zombies. If I didn't know they were zombies it would have been a excellent twisted erotic read. Which I guess it is because it's definitely twisted and erotic and I enjoyed reading it.
Im sad to say that I didnt enjoy this book as much as I did the first one! :-(
It felt somewhat rushed.
I will say that there were some plot twists towards the end that surprised me "Once youre in, youre in!"
I wish we had had more of Matties POV, she brings angst to the storyline.
2.5/5 stars
Unfortunately, this book was just not for me. I've read some other books that have somehwat similar plots, and I've also read many books that have heavy erotica in them. When I received this, I hadn't read the first one, but I was able to borrow it in order to be able to fully understand this. Needless to say, I enjoyed the first novel much more to this sequel. It just felt boring and bland in comparison and I didn't really enjoy it. There were times where I actually did really enjoy it, thus my rating, but most of the time it just fell flat for me. I may give this another chance in the future, but as of now I don't necessarily recommend it.
