A fantastic introduction to basics of yoga and meditation. Very informative without being overwhelming and simple enough to understand easily.
I have been practising yoga for about 5 years now and mindfulness & meditation for about a year, and I own several books on each subject yet I love reading more in the hope of learning something new.
If you are interested in yoga and meditation, this book is perfect for you. The book is well divided into small(ish) chapters that are easy to digest and you can dive in and out of the book as you like without being confused.
I will definitely use this book in the future and I highly recommend it!

I would like to thank the publisher, Watkins Publishing and Netgalley for providing me with an ARC of Everyday Yoga Mediation by Stephen Sturgess.

This book is excellent in my opinion as it really gives you a back ground on yoga in a nutshell and then proceed to explain different mediation methods with very clear, step by step instructions.

The books is easy to read as it has a very easy flow, but still contains so much information that the reader will revisit this book again and again.. I also like the cover very much and it seems like a small book so this book will make a great gift.

I have been practicing yoga for a couple of years now and meditation for about two years, and I find the information in the book very useful.

I really like this book, I highly recommend this book!

I liked this book. It was informative and great for a beginner and also for someone who has done yoga in the past. The photos could've been bigger but otherwise a great read. I liked this book better than other yoga books on the shelf. Ommmmmmm!

As a keen yogi I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and no doubt it is one that I will continue to go back to time and again and my mediation practice progresses. I would like to thank Netgally and the publisher for this ARC I would definitely recommend to anyone even to glean tips and ideas on how to relieve the stress that we face daily.

I found this book very informative and easy to read. The photos , although small, were handy in ensuring that you could understand the position explained.
I liked this more then some other yoga books on the market

Very good and informative book. Excellent for beginners or those like me who did some yoga quite a few years ago and want to start again. Highly recommended.

A practical guidebook for novice yogis wishing to understand yoga basics in relation to the philosophy of meditation practice. Readers may feel overwhelmed with the first chapters, which focus on yoga's foundations and terminology. In the instructional section, though, directions we're clear and thorough, and the tone was reader-friendly.

For someone starting out on a meditation/yoga journey, this book is perfect! It’s a great combination of in depth instructions with helpful diagrams. There are also full explanations about the ideology behind the practices so you are fully aware about the purposes for he exercised and the benefits of doing them! Highly recommend!

I’m happy to have found this book, thanks to the publishers and NetGalley for allowing me to review it.

Beautiful colour illustrations and a straight forward format. I especially liked the idea of explaining the length and type.

His form of yoga is new to me and it’s really to soon to recommend it but this book would make a fabulous present for yoga fans .Just looking through it inspires .

This was a really neat title! It was very well-researched, thorough, and informative. I liked the illustrations and the easy-to-understand explanations. It would make a great gift for a yoga beginner.

Leaving no stones unturned, the author created a book on the many all-encompassing facets of Yoga. Complete with all of the Eastern philosophies, this book is a must read for the beginner or advanced practitioner. All instruction was carefully presented in an orderly manner. Well laid-out, it
was easy to read and follow along. For anyone interested in learning more about this ancient art of purifying mind and body, I recommend this book wholeheartedly.

I learned so much from this book. The author explains the meaning and value of yoga meditation for a calming inner peace. It is a beautifully illustrated book. Thanks to Watkins Publishing and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

I have now read this book once, but this is more of a useful tool to study over a long time. It contains a huge amount of information, and is really comprehensive. Even though the title is "Meditation", it's about almost all sides of Yoga.
The language is clear and concise, and there are lots of helpful pictures. The only thing I don't like, and this is true of almost all books on Yoga, are things presented as facts, even though they are incorrect, not proven or mere symbolic. But I understand the need for using symbols to explain things, so not too bad.

I am trying to do more meditation so this book was perfect for me. It is written really simple so everyone can understand really easly. It is definitely going to be on my shelf.

I am interested in yoga and meditation but sometimes struggle to really get into it. This book is well written, I love how it is clean, clear and simple in the template and in the style of written. The explainations are well made and it made me want to meditate. It is a book for beginners.
