Due to a passing in the family a few years ago and my subsequent health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for years after the bereavement. Thank you for the opportunity.

The title is misleading. You will find here quotes and thoughts from famous people about finding peace within and around yourself. The quotes chosen are excellent, but that's not all I had hoped for, and that's why I'm a little disappointed. I was even more upset because the color scheme is so serene and beautiful. Instead of just a book with quotes about peace, perhaps some techniques and practical approaches could have been added to make it a more balanced self-help book "to find peace." However, if you are looking for quotes to help you start and end your day for the next year, I recommend this book. If, on the other hand, you are interested in learning more about how to find peace, then look elsewhere.

A nice book that explores the topics that can be linked to everyday issues.

I am not a great reader of self-help books but this eased me into it.

Not what the title implies. Quotes mainly. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book in return for my honest review. Receiving the book in this manner had no bearing on my review.

365 Ways to Find Peace was incredibly helpful.
This will help me reach my goal for this year of moving towards a more mindful way of thinking.

Many thanks to NetGalley, Watkins Publishing and Marcus Braybrooke for providing an eARC my opinions are 100% my own and independent of receiving an advance copy.

A nice little book that can be a reminder to slow down. A nice collection of quotes and passages about peace of mind. I really enjoyed this book...it could be read many different ways, like reading the pages in sequence or randomly opening the book and reading what you see. You could read through it all at once or look at one quite a day or one quite a week.
Nice little book.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I have been using this book for a couple of months. I like reading the quotes and inspiring words that have been provided. I have been using this book in companion with my own personal journal. It is giving me something to focus on and helping me clear the dark places in my mind and replace it with light. That is something that I need. I am glad this is a book I can go back to when I need it.

This is a lovely small book that can be read one quote a day or in one day, I liked that there are quotes from different places and cultures.
I'm not going to lie I expected something else, actual ways?, but overall I enjoyed reading the book.
I found some great quotes that I like, there was also some that I didn't understand at all.

This is a very simple book, but its impact is great. It's a nice reminder to slow down, take a deep breath, and be grateful. I would recommend this book for anyone looking to remain mindful and take note of the beauty surrounding them within their everyday lives.

Good book to pick up if you only have a moment. Nothing revolutionary but I appreciated all of the ideas.

A quiet little book full of practical and meditative tips on how to still your inner turmoil. The handy layout and format means you can dip in and out and search for anything that grabs your fancy or seems worth trying.

I love reading complications like these. Most were really good while some are somewhat vague in my opinion.

The date and the country the authors are from was really nice touch.

365 Ways to Find Peace was incredibly helpful to utilize several techniques at our disposal to help us find a solace of peace, both for day-to-day and long term. This guide can be beneficial especially in a world and climate so seeped in hate and anger. I hope that people can channel peace wherever they go and spread the love all around.

RATING: 4 STARS
April 2019; Watkins Publishing

I have not officially read this whole book, as it is passages/quotes/paragraphs that you read to calm your mind. Essentially, it is meditations/affirmations for each day. For me, when I am in a panic attack or high stress I like to read poetry to clear and calm my mind and settle my heart rate. I love that there is something already set up. So far, I have been trying to read one before I fall asleep. I will update my post at the end of the year. I would recommend you either first take a look at a sample (if provided on sites like Amazon), or flip through a copy at a book store or library and see if it is something that would fit you.

I"m not sure what I was expecting with this book, but this wasn't it. The book was a nice collection of quotations from various sources about peace and living peacefully. I think I was expecting more ideas on how to find peace in a busy world.

It was a good collection, but nothing new that hasn't been done before.

Many thanks to the publishers for granting me access to an eGalley of this title in exchange for an honest review.

This book contains 365 sayings from around the globe, from all different sources. You have Buddha to Bhagavad Gita, the bible, the Torah and the Koran. From Eastern philosophies and Indian philosophies to ancient philosophers like Dante, Aristotle and Plato. Poems and sayings from other folk who we have come to see as wise like Thich Nhat Hanh and Anne Frank. These contributions include poems, sayings, -isms and short stories, all around the idea of peace.

This is the kind of book that I usually gravitate towards. Something that I can pick up and read at my leisure, either a few snippets or whole sections. Something I can come back to over and over again. With all of these wise sources you would think that there would be so many little gems. Many of the sources I know and have read their works before. Most I admired, not all, but still there is so much wisdom to pull from. Unfortunately, I personally did not relate to most of what was in this book. I didn’t find the quotes inspiring, thoughtful, meditative or peaceful. Some confused me and I just kept thinking with all the wise things these people have said, this is what you chose?

Sorry, this is a pass for me.

This book was great. I would read this book not each day but when I needed peace. This gave me inspiration and calm. I loved it.

This is belongs to the installment of 365 Ways. I recently reviewed 365 Ways to Beat Stress by Adam Gordon and was blown away by the advice and tips that were presented. This one (365 Ways to Find Peace) is different in that it simply provides a quote for everyday of the year.

I enjoyed 365 Ways to Beat Stress much more than 365 Ways to Find Peace. Nevertheless, I still had an enjoyable read. Although everyday featured a quote, the quotes were also divided up into sections, so you can find what you want for every occasion. Whether you want a boost of morale, self-esteem, or kindness, the book has a quote for you. Some quotes are well-known, others not so much, but they are all nonetheless insightful.

I love hoarding quotes, so I think a compilation like this novel is a great gift for people like me.

Like the previous installment, there exists a vibe of contentment and serenity that emanates from the book. I felt calm and less anxious as I browsed through the proverbs and sayings. It’s definitely a quick solution for de-stressing.

Praise and blame, gain and loss, pleasure and sorrow come and go like the wind. To be happy, rest like a great tree in the midst of them all. Achaan Chah (1918–92), Thailand

Overall, it was a good read. While I wouldn’t give it 5 stars like I did for 365 Ways to Beat Stress, I give bump it up to a 4 because I’m a sucker for quotes and proverbs.
