A raw and honest look at the dark and seedy side of life is the basis of this book. The personal stories are occasionally graphic and brutally truthful, but they give the background necessary to underscore the main theme of the book. The central theme is that you can overcome, you can be forgiven, and you can move forward with a positive life force because God is on your side.
