There aren't many romance novels out there that feature 70-somethings. This is a gentle tale of Betty, a widow, and Peter, her friend, who find themselves bumping up against one another Betty navigates life after losing her husband. Don't expect any steam- this one is more about kindness than, well, steam. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. A good read.
I liked this entertaining and engaging book.
It's a gentle paced, sometimes slow and very pleasant read.
I liked the plot and the characters.

Many thanks to Severn House and Netgalley for this ARC
I must admit, you had me at the cover. Bicycles are my favorite thing right now. The story had an old fashioned feel to it and I really enjoyed it. Thank you netgalley for the opportunity to read and review the arc of this story. The opinions are soley my own.
I was engaged with the book then it became a bit monotonous with so many different mishaps occurring to Betty, the main character. Picked it up a few days later and was more involved with
the storyline. It is a story about a widow and a neighbour who has loved her for years. They
eventually marry in their seventies and it details the aging of both partners. Perhaps it hit home
too much as it reflects my marriage.
