Carly Smith is an alcohol and addiction counselor at a camp for girls, she is a survivor herself, a former victim of sex trafficking and drug addiction. When she discovers that the man who lured her into that dark world of sex trafficking is still at large and luring other girls to the same fate under the guise of being a modelling agent.
When her niece is kidnapped, she decides to take action and go after the perpetrators, along with her brother-in-law, his girlfriend, Maggie, and Logan, a man from her past.
A fast-paced thriller, that though it is a part of a series, stands alone and is more of a companion to the previous books as they are minimally related. A chilling read, about a difficult topic, Carly is very brave and is working hard to start over and carve out a fresh start, she doesn't want to relive her past, and I admired her courage in facing her past. She wants to do whatever she can to help bring her niece home. She has her personal struggles with faith and trust, and I think she was a stronger character because of her vulnerabilities.
I liked David and Maggie, he is a cold case investigator and she is a defense attorney. They find their faith and their relationship tested by their respective jobs, finding common ground working to bring Lexi home. I liked the scenes with them together, they have great interaction.
Overall, a suspenseful and action-packed read, with inspiring characters, great character building and relationships, as well as faith. A well-rounded story, and fantastic read. Advised for older readers due to the more mature subject matter.

This was probably my favorite book of the series! This could be because it gave me the ending, but I think I also really liked the characters and the basis for the book
Authors have a huge platform and I liked how Bradley used hers to discuss a hard issue taking place all around the world that most people would rather not think about. I also like how she focused on the ability to recover and move on with life through therapy and core groups of friends.
This story also had tons of suspense and I couldn't read fast enough. I love a good page turner.
I was pretty impressed with myself for figuring out a couple of the bad guys, but even then I still really enjoyed the book.
I received an advanced copy of this book through the publisher and NetGalley. This is my honest opinion.
Suspense! Danger! A sex traffiking ring in Memphis! Carly Smith is a brave woman determined to help other young women since she escaped her captors and has built a new life. When business takes her back to Memphis and someone takes a shot at her, Carly is even more afraid to trust anyone including law enforcement! Who recognizes Carly as Heather Morgan? Logan Donovan is a police officer who says he wants to find the shooter but he was at the party when Heather (Carly) was kidnapped. Can she trust him? Things become more terrifying when Carly's niece is kidnapped and Carly realizes what Lexi's future holds. All of the main characters in Justice Delivered are great. I have loved all of the Memphis Cold Case series and recommend Justice Delivered to anyone who enjoys suspense. I received an advance e-book of Justice Delivered through Net Galley. This is my honest opinion.
Carly Smith was kidnapped and sold to a human trafficker when only 17. After 8 years, she is able to escape and begins a new life; but she never forgets the man who kidnapped her or the man who trafficked her. Now after 8 years of freedom, intensive counseling, and finishing a college degree, Carly is ready to face her family and find the two men who were responsible for her years of terror.
This book is the last in the Memphis cold case series. It reads well as a stand alone, but some of the characters from previous books appear in this book. It starts slowly, but the pace picks up with every page and skyrockets to the end. I felt like Carly really grew and became more confident as the story progressed. I can't imagine having to deal with 8 years of sex trafficking as well as abuse and torture by her handler. I especially liked that she faced her demons in order to get Blade and Grey off the streets and no longer trafficking young women. I did guess who Grey was about 3/4 of the way through the book. But still Bradley penned a wild ride ending.
Well done suspense series that I recommend for those who like this genre.

Love this one! Perfect addition to an outstanding series! Quickly connected with Carly and her trauma was intense and completely relatable.
Human trafficking is a very real and powerful threat and Bradley has crafted a story that draws the reader in, educating while also enlightening and entertaining.
Justice Delivered is the exciting fourth installment from Patricia Bradley’s Memphis Cold Case series. This addition to the series has to be my favorite. It involves horrible issues that is happening around the world today, which is human trafficking. It is packed full of action, mystery and suspense. I could not put it down until I read the last page.
I give Justice Delivered five stars and highly recommend it for readers who enjoy clean suspenseful books.
I received this book from the publisher. This review is 100% my own honest opinion.
JUSTICE DELIVERED by Patricia Bradley is a riveting page-turner. Book 4 in the Memphis Cold Case Series it stands alone, those Nick and Maggie are continuing characters.
I enjoyed getting to know Carly and Logan as Carly had major issues to work through and Logan was a man from her past that she didn't trust. Understandably.
I figured out one of the whodunits right away, and guessed another correctly, but another one caught me by surprise. There were a lot of twists and turns that I never saw coming and the hits never stopped coming for Carly, the detectives and the poor child caught in the web.
Ms Bradley is one of my top ten favorite romantic suspense authors and I love this series. If you like romantic suspense, give JUSTICE DELIVERED a try.
I was given a copy free. All opinions are my own.
I devoured this book! The 4th in the Memphis Cold Case Series was exciting and thrilling and I could not out it down! With human tracking as the main plot point, this book is compelling and you can't help but fall in love with the characters as they try to catch the evil men behind the crimes. I had been eagerly anticipating this book since reading the rest of the series last summer, and I am happy that it did not disappoint. This along with book 2 of the set are my favorites in the series. If you love an exciting suspenseful Christian Fiction read, the do not miss this book!
I received this book from NetGalley and was not required to post a positive review. All thoughts are my own.
Awsome writing! While the subject is a very serious one, humman trafficking, kidnapping, and murder, the author does a wonderful job of weaving a story you won't want to put down. David, a cop whose lost his wife Lia in an unsolved murder, still wonders the fate of his sister-in-law who disappeared years ago. David, along with his new love interest, Maggie, a lawyer, have a mysterious run in with a woman at David's daughter, Lexi's, soccer game. And a series of events in set in motion that leaves the entire family and area in a search for the truth of the past and a race against time to save the lives of loved ones. Just how far does the net spread before Justice is Delievered. I appreciated that by the time I had finished the story, all the lose ends were neatly tied up.
This riveting suspense kept me up all night! A definite page-turner. Carly Smith was fighting for her life and I had to help her escape her captors as she fought to stay alive.
Carly attempts to rebuild her life after years of captivity, but her past returns with a vengeance. She returns to Memphis where the life as she’d know as a seventeen-year-old ended. She’d never forget going to a party with a friend where a man posing as a modeling agent offered her a job. He had talked her into leaving with him that night. A decision that changed her life forever, and a decision Carly sorely regretted.
After Carly’s escape, she is determined to find the man who had ruined her life. It isn’t until Carly learns of her niece’s kidnapping that she is forced to face her insecurities and fears if she wants to find and save her niece. But, because her trust in men and police officers was shattered during her captivity, Carly feels there’s no other choice but to find the abductor herself.
The more she questions people and exposes supposed names of her captors, the more danger she falls into. But, she doesn’t give up. The twists keep coming and don’t let up until the end. Once you think you’ve got Carly free from danger, something else happens.
Patricia Bradley successfully grips the reader with an intriguing plot, unexpected twists, and well-developed characters.
I have to give this book five stars.
I received a complimentary copy of this book via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.
I loved this book! The whole series has been amazing, but I really appreciated the difficult subjects this story covered. The mystery was excellent and kept me up late reading!
After I read Ms. Bradley’s previous book, Justice Betrayed, I couldn’t wait for her next book to come out. So when Justice Delivered appeared I knew I had to read it. One of the best things about Ms. Bradley’s books is that they read so quickly. The way she writes, her sentence structure and flow, as well as the content, makes her books so easy to read. The writing is natural and not choppy. I had a 3 hour flight and read nearly the entire book in that timeframe. Another thing I love about her books is that from the first page she grabs you and hooks you and you can’t put it down. I never felt like there were too many characters or too many things I needed to learn to get into the book. I also loved that her books aren’t overly romantic. There are hints and undertones but nothing major. I was left guessing to the end. I didn’t forsee the ending which is a huge plus! I can’t wait for her next book. I will definitely continue reading books by Ms. Bradley.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher. I was in no way required to write a positive review. All thoughts are my own.
First, I want to say that Justice Delivered is a great stand alone if you've not read the previous books in this series.
This is my favorite kind of Christian fiction--suspense, mystery, heart thumping and a little romance thrown in!
Carly Smith was a rebellious teenage girl living with her aunt and uncle after the death of her parents. She was deceived by a man who told her he could get her into modeling making tons of money. Unfortunately, the man he passed her on to had absolutely nothing to do with a modeling career and everything to do with human trafficking. For eight long years Carly was forced against her will into this lifestyle and beaten into submission if she balked or tried to escape. Carly's sister, aunt and uncle eventually presumed her dead as they had never heard anything from her.
But, escape she finally does! Even after changing her name and appearance, she has never felt safe. She has very good reasons to not trust even the police, so who can she go to? Carly never felt the freedom to contact her sister. After many years, she finally contacted her sister which lead to disastrous results. When she found out yet another young girl had been deceived in the same way she had, she decided something had to be done to put a stop to this and save future girls from what she had endured. Unfortunately, shortly afterwards, an attempt is made on her life and then her niece is kidnapped by the human traffickers.
The author did a fantastic job on all the twists and turns in this story. If you love this type of Christian fiction like I do, this one will keep you from your chores and sleep!

Justice Delivered is a fantastic suspense. As is always the case with this author's books the plot is well written, characters well developed. Fans of suspense will not want to miss this book. My thanks to the publisher and Netgalley. This is an unbiased review.
In Justice Delivered, author Bradley delivers more than any sane person would ever want to know about the sex-trafficking crisis in our country, but she does it with skill and a compelling storyline. She includes enough gritty reality for the reader to understand the danger, fear, and horror of the crimes against the victims without using unnecessary detail. Through the story of Carly, who escaped from her captors, Bradley explains the residual emotional damage of the victims who endure this kind of abuse. Throughout the novel, Bradley educates the reader about ways that victims are lured into dangerous situations and sets out ways to avoid these situations, without coming over as didactic or distracting the reader from the story. Faith., hope, and redemption are also central themes to the book, perhaps more clearly presented than justice, which is not always possible, at least in this world. I give this book four well-deserved stars.
I liked this suspenseful novel once it got going. It took me a while to get into the plot. It was well over half way before I would describe it as a page turner. Then the last third or so of the book captured me. Give this book a chance because reading it will be worth it in the end.
The plot centers around human trafficking. Bradley includes an author's note at the end about the trafficking. It is estimated that the profits from human trafficking in the U.S. is over $150 billion each year. This is heartbreaking. Bradley gives some good suggestions for readers who want to be active in helping.
I appreciate Bradley drawing attention to this practice. I would suggest reading this novel just on the basis of the plot subject. We really get a sense of the pain and insecurity of a woman trafficked, especially when she has once escaped and been returned to her captor by a policeman. I do wish the timeline had been tighter as some sixteen years are involved. There are multiple points of view and I found that a little disconcerting for this kind of mystery and suspense novel. And the romance aspect for both the couples involved seemed a little forced and odd to me.
All that being said, this is a novel to read because of the subject matter. It may be hard to read at times. I found it so, not wanting to believe humans can treat others as they do in deceiving women into modern day slavery.
I received a complimentary egalley of this book from the publisher. My comments are an independent and honest review.
Patricia Bradley delivers one of her absolute best! Fans will not want to miss out on this installment of the Memphis Cold Case series.
After years of being a victim of sex trafficking, Carly Smith has made her way out and is trying got find a new life for herself. Trusting others come isn’t something that she is ready to do just yet, and no matter how hard she tries to leave her past behind her it continues to haunt her. She knows she should have gone to the police when she first got away, but she fears if she goes to the police they won’t believe her or worse, might just send her back to the people who held her captive. When she finally feels comfortable to reach out to her family and reconnects with her sister, she thinks all is well until her sister ends up dead and her niece is kidnapped. Carly must face her fears and come forward with what she knows to save her family. When all else fails. she takes matters into her own hands and goes after the kidnappers herself.
There was something about this story that really drew me in more than any others in the series so far. The topic can be sensitive but unfortunately it is currently something we must deal with. Patricia Bradley did an outstanding job of tackling a hard subject in an engaging and entertaining way for readers. Carly is strong through all she must endure and is able to use that to help others, especially her family when the time comes. Her fear of going to others for help is understandable after all she has been through and had others turn on her when she thought she could really trust them. I really enjoyed the way the relationship between her and Maggie played out. Almost all the secondary characters brought the story onto a whole new level, the story brought in aspects from the whole series and it was great to see the way the different characters interacted together. For fans of the series, I highly recommend diving deep into Justice Delivered and savoring the story. If you haven’t ever read anything by Patricia Bradley, I strongly recommend reading this one, even if you haven’t read the others in the series it will be ok to start here. Each book can essentially be read as a stand-alone if it needs to be or enjoyed as a whole series.
I received a complimentary copy of this title from the publisher. The views and opinions expressed within are my own.
It’s true that this book will have you turning pages long into the night. The inside look at a victim’s experience of human trafficking is gut wrenching and devastating. The inside ring of culpable contributors to this horrible trade was shocking and made it understandable why Carly took the steps she did. The pace is quick and engaging and stays that way until the very end. I felt my own pulse race as Carly battled the demons of her past and longed for justice. There’s just a sprinkling of romance to whet my appetite. All in all, a great suspenseful read that I highly recommend for all fans of action and who-done-it type stories.
