A quirky and fun adventure that will surely appeal to your middle grade readers who enjoy graphic novels. My 12 year old devoured this book and I did, as well. The movie making angle was an interesting way to introduce the myriad of characters. A fun graphic novel.
I really liked the cover but I found the book to be pretty boring. I was expecting more and it just didn't happen.
a fun little story about aliens in your own home
the aliens were the good ones (more or less) and the humans...not so much
it's perfect for teens but it's really for anybody!
A very fun and advunture packed book for then tweens of middle grade as Shaun and Spence go against imps and all to save the theater from attack and destruction by making the better film!
While also questioning the best friends status they have after a few scenes here and there!
Way too boring, i did not like it at all
I think it should be improved the writing and story. Nevertheless i really liked the cover
It started off as a fun read, but I think somewhere along the way, I got bored and lost interest.
It might be a 'me thing'.
I was expecting much more from the premise.
Attack of the Killer Earthlings was a fun , entertaining story about some imps trying to make a movie.
The two main human characters, Shaun and Spencer (which made me think of the TV show "Psyche"--even though here, Shaun is a girl) are a great couple of teen best friend who take a summer job cleaning an a movie theater. Then, they meet Jim the imp and our adventure unfolds.
Along the way Shaun has to face her true feelings for Spence, her dastardly cousin, Brady, and the chaos of warring clans of imps.
A young adult novel that was so much fun.
I give it 4.5 stars!
