Honestly I don’t have an interest in reading this book anymore and I want to be more selective with what I request.
Accounting for It All by R.R. Campbell had the possibility of being great and wowing me but it really just fell flat for me. It was disappointing. The book was too slow for me.
Accounting for it All had so much promise but crashed and burned for me. The book was slow and the ending was just not what you might expect.
This book varied between three and four stars at various points which frustrated me as it had the potential to be amazing but just fell flat. I liked Robin but just wished she told those around her about the FBI/IRS thing. The queer element was mentioned at the begiining and not really dicussed until 2/3 of the way through. The relationship with Sarah was sweet but god damn it Robin, stop being a shitty person. Robin was sweet but if I knew her in real life, I'd think she was a terrible person for the situation she got into (FBI/IRS, not the porn one).
This book was "OK". The ending was awful. The details and anecdotes were interesting, the descriptions of the characters were lazy at times. It just feels like so much was introduced in this piece that was never concluded. **SPOILERS AHEAD** For example, we are introduced into the world of Robin's "Pornucopia" discovery of money laundering, we are deeply into this investigation, to realize at the end that it just "goes away". Then, we are so deeply delved into the relationships that Robin has been in, and in the same way, those just drift off or end with very boring endings. I enjoyed the potential that this book had. However, I don't believe that the goal of this storyline was met whatsoever.
Wow! The suspense in this book had me engrossed and I was unable to put this down until I finished it. Great writing. I cannot wait to read more from this author.
This was a nice story. Even if it was a typical romance.
Robin works at pornucopia has always skirt her way through the system but this time she has a lot to lose when the IRS comes knocking at her door. She has to decide if is worth it to make a wrong choices even if it's for the right reasons.
I received an ARC via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
