Jess is a bit of a Scrooge and doesn’t enjoy Christmas as most people do. Jess had dated some losers and when things started to get serious they dumped her. She was determined not to date anyone in the industry again. Jess was a professional ballroom dance and was on The Dance off. Jess meets Nic on New Years Eve at midnight and they kiss. It was a great kiss but the next day he went away for work. Nic was a Broadway hotshot. The next year they meet again at an ugly Christmas sweater party. Nic used to love traveling and adventure but over the last year he has decided he is ready to settle down. Nic never forgot Jess and now wants to see if they could make it and settle down together. But Jess doesn’t believe it. Jess figures even though Nic wants to date her now toward a possible future , he will leave her eventually for the next big thing. Nic has three dates to prove Jess wrong and make her love the holidays despite her past that made he like Scrooge as far as the holidays were concerned.
I liked this book a lot. It was a romantic, quick, easy read. This is also a novella but has everything it needs in it so you don’t feel something is missing because of the length of the book. I got a little annoyed with Jess at times. I liked how Nic was always honest with her. I also liked that I learned a lot about dance. I really enjoyed the plot and pace. I advise you to read the previous books in this series first for a smoother read. I did love the dance scenes. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I recommend it.

This confection of a novella set in Alexis Daria's Dance Off series universe is a must purchase for all collections. It's Dancing With the Stars x Hallmark's Countdown to Christmas with a dash of Scrooged!

I love this series so much! And I love holiday themed romance, so I really enjoyed this. The two characters are really developed for a novella, and it felt like a full story. I loved the concept of 3 dates, and the tie-in of other Dance-Off characters.

Alexis Daria delivers on such a generously lovely story that swept me off my feet. I felt wooed by Nik and Jess' interactions. They're so lovely together. She's a scrooge and he's very romantic. It all made me feel all kinds of good things. For a person who doesn't really celebrate Christmas, I realted to Jess. But I adored the dates. The description put me in their shoes. I wanted to whisk Jess off her feet alongside Nik. She's such a strong character and I loved that Nik merely adored her and didn't try to "change" her.

4.5 stars — OMG, I LOVED THIS BOOK!! I was sucked in right from the beginning, and it just had so much of what I love in a Christmas novella!

First, I LOVED our characters! Jessie made me want to smack her a few times, because she was so hard-headed and took forever to see things “the right way”, but she was still such a fantastic character. She was sassy, dry-witted, and I LOVED the things that she loved. I can profess to having fallen in love with ballroom dancing, and all the swing fun, even though I never got good at the dancing it part (I have like zero grace). She was also really vulnerable, lonely and damaged. And I did feel for her damage, it was just hard not to want to rush her healing. I also loved that she was black. I know this sounds weird, but it’s fun learning even little things about characters of another race, like how she talked about taking care of her hair and stuff. It doesn’t always have to be big stuff, the little stuff opens my eyes too.

And OMG Nik. Nik is my new book boyfriend. Nik was the sweetest, most caring, most adorable book boy. He wasn’t beta necessarily, but he definitely wasn’t alpha. I LOVED his blushes. OMG I loved his blushes. And you could genuinely feel how much he’d fallen for Jess over the year, and how sincerely he wanted to pursue something more with her. I loved the way he loved his family, and how he was just a natural caretaker who instinctively wanted to help his loved ones. He was attentive, thoughtful, laidback, and he had an adorable sense of adventure and fun. Watching him share his love of Christmas with Jess just put me in the mood for Christmas myself!

And the two of them together just had a natural butterfly inducing chemistry. I kind of loved that they started slow, and we got to see them get to know each other first. It gave me all those new crush type vibes. And then when it transitioned to steamier? Um yes please! Although why I had to be on a plane at those points, god only knows…

I LOVED the glimpses of other characters we got to see. For those who have read the series, it was super fun to check in with our other two couples (and they made me howl with those cookies). I also loved meeting Naomi and seeing more of Rhianne (though maybe too much of Rhianne…;) ).

So yeah. Total Christmas hit. Total Dance Off series hit. I can’t wait for more from this author!!

Oh, I loved this novella. This series is fantastic top to bottom, and this novella is an excellent, cheery addition to the series.

I often feel in romance we get that "emotionally distant" hero, but in this case, NIk is a romantic and he falls head over heels for Jess. She is the one who holds back, afraid of getting hurt. He dares her to go on 3 holiday themed dates so he can prove himself to her, and the entire book is just top to bottom charming. Both Jess and NIk felt like fully-formed characters, and although it's a literal whirlwind courtship, I found myself rooting for them the entire way.

Exactly what I want out of a Christmas novella.

I had a huge smile on my face as I read this sweet, bubbly novella. Yes, there are emotional stakes, but the characters were so likeable and the plot so fizzy, I knew everything would work out in true holiday fashion. I’m a fan of the Dance Off series and I can’t wait for the next book!

This was really fun and fluffy, the perfect holiday romance read. I love the Dance Off series, and I definitely recommend it to everyone. This is a great novella to tide over readers until the next installment.

Alexis Daria’s Dance All Night: A Dance Off Holiday Novella (and part of the Dance Off series) is a sweet read. I am new to the author and really enjoyed this book. If you are looking for a holiday romance that warms your heart, you need to one-click this book.

Nik and Jess meet at a NYE party. Nik is instantly attracted to Jess and suggests that since neither has a plus one, that they kiss at midnight - even though Jess is happily munching on a bag of sour cream and onion chips (a girl I can relate to). They kiss and sparks fly. Unfortunately, Nik leaves to go on tour the next day and doesn’t see Jess for a year.

This time, Nik is playing for keeps. At the NYE party (that he attended because he assumed that Jess would be there) Nik convinces Jess to give him three dates to change her mind about Christmas and him. This is a major accomplishment as Jess is a complete Scrooge, and freely admits it.

Daria’s book is perfect for a holiday Hallmark movie lover, like myself. The dates are fun and Nik and Jess are an adorable couple surrounded by a supporting cast that adds to this fun - especially the cookie scene. I could feel the upcoming Christmas season in my heart because of the author’s amazing writing. From the snowy cold, ice skating, hot cocoa, family, friends and love - this book has it all! This is a wonderful addition to those HEA holiday romances that we love to read, especially this time of year.

Dance All Night by Alexis Daria a five-star read that will get you moving. This is a novella in the Dance off series it sits as 2.5 and could be read as stand-alone but you will adore the characters and only want to go back to hear their stories so start from the beginning. What a story, even though the story spans a little while it doesn’t drag at all. The story will captivate, and you will adore finding out about Jess Davenport and why she hides herself so well, why she is such a scrooge. Oh, my goodness I can only wish that Nik Kovalenko was real as I can only wish about the three dates he plans. Wow what a dreamboat and a dancer thrown in as well. What more can you want?

I'm so happy that we got to spend more time in the world of Dance Off. I love this series for so many reasons and this novella highlighted them all!

Despite finishing this book in a little over an hour, this never felt like a novella because it is so well developed. You've got great, layered characters; an addicting, sweet romance and just the right amount of drama to give this novel a little flare. Oh--and CHRISTMAS! Everything just mixed together so well.

It was nice to have the roles reversed a bit. I always like reading novels where the male hero is more invested in the relationship and he has to win over the somewhat cynical heroine. Nik is such a genuine guy that he will have you swooning from the start. And Jess has some great character moments as a result of her growing feelings.

My only downside is the conflict the two face: it's a bit of a communication-assumption thing and that always irks me. But I loved these two together so much that I'm willing to over look that little bit!

Jess just wants to get Nik alone. Every time they're together it's in a group setting. They do have some outrageous friends that kept the get togethers lively. For me the wait was worth it, and I'm pretty sure it was for them too.

Dmitri's adorable younger brother Nik gets his happily ever after in this holiday-themed Dance Off novella. Dance All Night introduces us to Jess Davenport, a ballroom dancer on The Dance Off who has a chance encounter with Nik on New Year's Eve. They kiss and have a discussion about settling down where Nik is clearly not into that idea.

Nearly a year later, they run into each other at an ugly sweater party and Nik wants a do-over. His views on settling down have shifted, and he believes that Jess could be the girl he wants to settle down with. Jess is skeptical. And she's been burned one too many times by others and isn't willing to take a chance on Nik.

So he asks her for three dates to prove to her that Christmas is magical. And she agrees, believing there is no way he is serious. But Nik is dead serious. He's a guy who knows what he wants. He's not sure Jess wants the same thing, but he's all-in. He puts himself out there emotionally in ways that are just super dreamy. It's so easy to love him.

I do love Jess, and I get why she is hesitant, but she also refuses to take Nik at his word a lot of the time. And sure, it's not easy to trust people. But here's someone who has consistently been honest with you, maybe believe him when he says he wants a future with you? Regardless of some of that frustrating hesitancy, this is a really fun and sweet holiday read.

I can't wait for more Dance Off novels.

**Dance with Me will publish on December 11, 2018. I received an advance reader copy courtesy of Netgalley/Alexis Daria in exchange for my honest review.

Set in Alexis Daria's Dance Off series, Dance All Night features a grumpy scrooge and the sexy professional dancer who tries to convince her holiday miracles can and do happen.

After sharing an unexpected but sexy as hell New Years Eve midnight kiss with Broadway hotshot Nik Kovalenko, dancer Jess Davenport thinks that is all it will be, just a kiss. But as the next holiday season rolls in and she runs into Nik at an ugly Christmas sweater party, she realizes he has been thinking about her and that kiss just as much as she has, and Nik wants a chance to date her.

But, Jess is hesitant to start anything with someone who is destined to leave her for the next big thing, the next exciting project so Nik has to convince her, with only six dates, that he's ready to do this for real.

Super fun, really hot and sweet. A perfect holiday novella to get you through the season!

I wanted to read a book that drew me in and captivated me. This was not that kind of book. I found it hard to connect with the characters. The first kiss they shared was complete lust not love. I love romance books that make you feel something as if you are the character in the book. I guess my quest for the ultimate romance book will have to continue. Thank you for your free book.

Dimitri's baby brother got his HEA!

I did wish I was emotionally invested in their romance though; the whole story was very good but it would have been amazing had I been into the characters more. But objectively speaking, Dance All Night is a super cute Christmas story.

So Jess had dated some guys who weren't honest with her about what they wanted and dumped her when things got serious so she doesn't date guys from the industry because of this experiences and because she doesn't think they would settle down with her.
And Nik enters in that category, they met and had a mind blowing kiss but he went away for work the next day and they meet again a year later.
And suddenly Nik wants to settle down and have something serious with her but Jess doesn't believe him. What she doesn't know is that he had changed in the past months and he isn't the guy he used to be. Now he has to prove her that he loves her.

In three Christmas inspired dates. So cute!

I liked that he didn't play games, he's honest with her since the beginning and she doesn't believe him at first but she learns to. Nik is an amazing guy, he's a real gentleman, he respects her boundaries and he put her first and he cares about her. He's the real deal.

Jess was insecure and a little immature at the beginning, and I love reading about flawed female characters, don't get me wrong, she's amazing but she wasn't perfect and that made me love her more.

As always I loved the multicultural factor, Nik is from Ukraine so he talks about their traditions and he sometimes says things in Russian (I love it) while Jess is a black woman from Chicago

Also I learned a lot about dance thanks to this saga and in this case I learned about Lindy hop (it's a kind of swing) .

Overall a cute, fun and sexy Christmas novella

What did you do when you'd never bothered to imagine the man of your dreams, yet he showed up anyway?
In just three dates and a kiss, he could be hers.

Dance All Night is a heartwarming, feel-good pick-me-up story about Broadway hotshot Nik Kovalenko converting Ballroom champion Jess Davenport that Christmas miracles exist and he'll be the man for her.

This quick and fun read had more heart, emotions and depth than I have experienced in a long while with a novella.
Get this book if you're in need of ANY of the below :)
- a heartthrob who's considerate, trustworthy, and good to-the-bone
- a champion heroine with a big heart she's sceptical of giving away
- some fabulous, sexy, and not over-the-top Christmas spirit
- a thoroughly enjoyable read that's low on angst
- a multi-layered diverse cast of characters.

This can definitely be read as a stand-alone even though readers of the first two books will love to see the characters from book one and two of the series.

P.S. I've received an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and ideas are my own and freely given without bias. #NetGalley #DanceAllNight #DanceAllNightADanceOffHolidayNovella

This was a fun, fairly fluffy novella that reverses the usual he's a grump/she's a rainbow dynamic. Jess is a bit of a Scrooge and Nik is an unapologetic fan of all things holiday. The one thing that didn't quite work for me was the conflict was one of those that could have been resolved with a single logical question and answer. Nevertheless, I don't expect huge conflict from novella-length work and I always enjoy returning to the Dance Off universe. Looking forward to the next full-length novel in the series!

I was given an advance reader's copy in exchange for an honest review.

Dance All Night was a really fluffyyy and cute holiday novella. Nik was just the sweetest guy and i loved Jess whose a bit of a Scrooge. There's lovely dance scenes in this and the dates Nik planned were all so well thought out and adorable.

We get to see characters from the previous books but this can very much be read as a standalone if you haven't yet read books 1 and 2.

This was exactly what I needed to read right now being sick and all. (flu leave meeee) Who doesn't love sweet heroes, and Nik is just that. I liked that he's the romantic and Jess is the realist who doesn't buy into the hype of Christmas but through their dates she gets to see what it means for Nik and maybeeee (she totally did) fell under the spell of it and Nik :)

I have to add at no time did I feel like Nik was trying to force his love of Christmas on Jess. It was a genuine sharing of something he loves by incorporating little things into their dates that he knows Jess would love too.

It was a quick read and perfect pick me up.
