Book 2 of the series. Light hearted yet dark at times too. Set in Cape Town, with Emma going there for a change. Book 1 was centered around Angie, who met Nick online. He is the one who offers Emma the job. Good story, but a lot of 20 year olds angst. Skimmable at times. Would recommend though if you liked book 1.
The Truth about Cats and Bees is part of a series but I read it as a stand alone and I didn’t feel like I was missing anything. It was nice to see the heroine change her outlook on life as the book progressed. I would certainly recommend it.
I surprised myself. I really liked this book, the second in the series). I loved main character Emma and her view on many things in life. The development of her relationship with Nick was something I could relate and enjoy too.
The whole story with its many characters and situations felt like a conversation with a friend: nice, familiar and warm.
I even started thinking of my own blog and what to do about it.
Thank you for a very nice and cozy story and enjoyable characters.
I was pleasantly surprised by this book. There is a predictability about it but it’s pleasant and satisfying as if you are proving your own ideas to be correct. The ending was slightly abrupt. It would have been nice to have had some more closure on the characters with regards to some of the smaller storylines permeating the book. Overall a good sequel and stand alone story. Worth a read.
