Addicted to Hate is fictional story based upon some true stories. This story is interesting because it follows Maddie, a woman who is abused through out her life by many people. Maddie is resilient and shows love continuously through out her life.

There was an interesting writing style with flashbacks that took a little bit of adjusting to but in the end I think added to the story. I think this story is heart wrenching to the point I took breaks to read other books to help me get through this. The premise written is misleading in the aspects that you feel like this will be a story about Nature vs Nurture of the kids but really its just a heart rending tale of woman who keeps struggling and opening her heart.
