I really didn't connect with the characters and found them kind of annoying.

this really put me off continuing to read the story and after a few days of avoiding reading altogether I decided to DNF the book.

I usually really like Leslie North books, but was not a fan of this one. Gregor is forced to find a wife or lose his company. So his first thought is to hire someone! I didn't find there was much chemistry between Gegor and Kara, but the one thing about these books is that there is always a HE A and they are a quick read. 3 stars

Gregor Beaumont would stop at nothing to meet the requirements of his grandfather’s will and hiring a girlfriend was only the beginning. Would their relationship lead to something more and help meet the agreement? Great start to the beginning of the series.

Kara Alerby is a bright and aspiring drama teacher who wants the theatre that is for sale to do her own shows. Gregor Beaumount is a fast driving Formula 1 driver who loves the thrill. His grandfather who passed away has put a clause in getting his part of the inheritance. He has to find a woman who he can marry. What happens when they enter the agreement shocks both of them.

Will they have a happy ending or will the curtains come down on this supposed relationship. All will be revealed in The Billionaire's Sham Girlfriend.

Hero (Gregor): 4/5 Rich guy who would rather not give up his playboy life but needs a fake girlfriend to keep his company.

Plot: 4/5 Grandpa is interiening to ensure Gregor and his other grandchildren find a nice girl to settle down with. Gregor would rather not settle down at all and appeaces him by obtaining a fake girlfriend. However it seems Kara just might be the one after all

Personal Review: I really enjoyed reading this story about "fake relationship" between Gregor and Kara. The rich Gregor was actually nice guy and Kara were both likable characters, their interactions were perfectly written. It has steamy, sweet and romantic elements and it will make you feel good, in times frustrated but you will have HEA on the end.

This story is about a man searching for a fake girlfriend in order to hold on to his inheritance. He chooses to find one who is an actress, one accustomed to learning parts and playing roles. As is typical, he finds someone, and finds out that he is more interested than he supposedly wants to be.

Although this is a typical story, with a typical ending, the way this author goes about bringing the two together is rather cute. It is an endearing love story, one that doe snot need the man to be a "billionaire" to make the story good. However, since billionaires are all the rage now, I guess it works.

If you are looking for a fun and entertaining read, this is the one for you. After all, it's fiction, right?

I absolutely adored this wonderful, sweet little romance from the very beginning.

Gregor Beaumont likes racing fast cars and seducing fast women. His late grandfather wanted to make sure Gregor and his two playboy brothers settle down and he had the brilliant idea of buying up a huge share of the brothers’ engine company and using that as an incentive for each brother to find Mrs Right. Settle down or lose the company to a competitor. Gregor has other ideas. He wants a charming but desperate girl to pretend to be his girlfriend. No problem, unless things start to get complicated.

Enter Kara Alerby. Gregor comes into her theatre wanting to hire her to act the part of his adoring girlfriend and offering lots of money that would really help her realise her dream of creating a school for gifted children. She can resist his smiles, his charisma, his beautiful blue eyes and his kiss-me mouth if it means she’ll get her school. She only needs to remember that it’s all a pretence.

When Gregor's love of racing puts his life in jeopardy, Kara isn’t ready to watch another person die in front of her as her father did. Gregor isn’t about to stop doing the one thing that makes life worth living. The two are on a collision course, one that could break them apart forever if they don’t change directions.

Although Gregor has a very public, playboy image, I loved the sexy chemistry between Kara and him whenever they were together and they were both very likeable characters. Kara is bright, ambitious and caring and very much knows her own mind. Gregor is gorgeous, mischievous and soulful. The story was sweet and captivating to the end and loads of fun to read if a little too short.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone.

This was a quick enjoyable "fake" relationship story. Both main characters were likeable and I was rooting for them to finally get together. There is a bit of insta-love so if that isn't your thing, you could possibly overlook it.

All things I like in books. You had a billionaire, racing a marriage of inconvenience. I was hooked line and sinker. Loved everything about this.

Kara Alerby knows she’s a sucker for blues eyes and a great smile, so when Gregor comes into her theater wanting to hire her to act the part of his adoring girlfriend, she’s already got her defenses on high alert. But Kara’s a practical girl, and Gregor’s offering a boatload of money that would go a long way toward making her dream of creating a fine arts school for gifted kids a reality. She can ignore his smiles, his charisma, and his kiss-me mouth if it means she’ll get her school. She just has to keep reminding herself is all make believe -- or is it?

But yes, Gregor is a rich dude looking for someone to act as his girlfriend and future wife so he can meet the requirements to get his grandad's inheritance. Kara is an improv teacher who dreams of running the drama theater. They meet and Kara agrees to be his fake girlfriend.

This was a cute, short story. I adored Gregor even though he was a stubborn mule. I even liked Kara. They were cute together and you could see the attraction right away even though they ignored it as much as possible.

What I really liked was how unbelievable this scenario is, but it felt real. I feel like if this did happen this would happen. Lots of hurdles to overcome especially since Gregor has had nothing but one-night stands and short little romances. It was pretty predictable, but it didn't bug me.

The grandma was adorable and scary all at the same time.

I do wish that this was a little longer so we could see these characters grow more. I also would like some more in the epilogue there.

In the end, this was very enjoyable and it was a quick and hot romance. I am jealous. Why can't I be the fake GF of a rich, hot guy ;) Oh well. I'll give this 4 stars. I wanted more though.

Quick - engaging read !!!!

Gregor Beaumont needs a girlfriend / fiancé & FAST !! He finds Kara Alerby teaching improv acting classes at a local theater group - sounds like a perfect solution to his problem - right? Have Kara play his fake girlfriend - right? He is nervous to pitch Kara the idea of traveling his Formula One racing circuit as his girlfriend .. in exchange Gregor will buy the theater Kara desperately wants to start her business.

Their instant attraction sets them racing on a high speed course to a HEA with a few bumps in the road along the way !!

Delightful read can’t wait to check out the other Beaumont brothers stories !!

Kara and Gregor's chemistry is really great in this novel by Leslie North. She captures their personality and blends them well. She made their romance very sweet and made you cheer them on. This was a good first in this series and I am looking forward to the others as well.

This was a cute romance story, the first in this series about three men who are forced to get married based on their grandfather's will or they will be disinherited. It was a quick read, so not a lot of character development, but enjoyable. If you like the Cinderalla type stories, you would like this.

I do like the fake relationship that turns to a real one, so I was quite keen to read this story. Billionaire Gregor needs a wife before he can inherit his dead Grandfather's fortune. He finds the ideal woman to play the role when he attends Kara's improvisation acting class. Kara needs to find a way to buy the theatre that she uses so that she can continue her classes when the owner wants to sell it. Gregor's offer is the perfect way to do this and she agrees to play the part of his girlfriend and then wife.
Of course, the more time that they spend together, the harder it is to believe that this is just an act and they both start to fall for one another.
There were things that I really liked about this story. Kara was very much her own woman and didn't capitulate or give in on what she believed in. I was slightly less keen on the changes that she wanted to make to Gregor, I think I would have prefered it if they could have found a way to accept one another a little more.
Overall this was a good, if a little short, read. If you are looking for a fairly quick but fun read, then you won't go far wrong with this.

Go and read it for yourself too because I don't want to write more about the story to avoid spoiling other reading experiences.

This is the first book I've read from this author and it won't be the last. Love how the story flowed and kept it from becoming just like all the other stories about paying to have a girlfriend to get their inheritance.

Kara is reluctant at first, but when she finds that she can't get the grant money to buy her theater to help future actors/actresses. She goes for it. Gregor and Kara find each other very hot, but they try to keep everything platonic. When Gregor wins his first race and they have an awkward first "kiss", they try to make it look better for public appearances. She shows the stubborn playboy what he is truly missing in his life - love. I look forward to the remaining books regarding his brothers. A must read.

A really sweet romance about very unlikely candidates for marriage, sham or real. The base for the story shows the facades we hide behind in our daily lives, and what can happen when you peel away your mask.
