I found myself really enjoying the idea behind Remember Me. The author had a very specific idea in mind when writing. However, I do not feel that it was executed as well as it could have been. That isn't to say that I did not like the book, I did! I just felt that it could have been written a little better. Ultimately, it was engaging and took the reader on a interesting journey.

Eight kids went into the woods one night, but only seven came out. Trying to unravel the truth of what happened that night was interesting. There were a few twists and a lot of finger pointing. I felt that I figured out the "bad guy" about halfway through and was correct. The main characters were decently memorable, but I felt there could have been a little more backstory on them. Thankfully, with so many main and supporting characters, they were easily distinguishable. A few parts felt rushed or sloppily done between characters. However, I understand not wanting to make the book long and drawn out.

Overall, I did enjoy this book and would recommend it to friends who like crime and mystery.

Enjoyed this book it did take me a bit to get into it . 8 friends who thought they had killed their friend come back together as one of them is dying . Quite a few chops and changes of who was sending Ava the messages . All in all this was a good book

Review: REMEMBER ME by DE White.
Excellent book that will keep most people guessing who the killer is though I actually had it figured out early on. Very well written and I would definitely be interested in reading more by this author. ⭐⭐⭐⭐Four Stars.

Such a wonderfully written, gripping story with exciting twists and turns. There were some slow moments, but I recommend this book. It’s a fantastic read!

Ava Cole is a successful detective with the LAPD but she's no longer in Los Angeles; she's returned to her childhood home in Wales at the request of her ex-husband but not everyone is pleased to see her. Ghosts from her past including that of a friend who disappeared, and a son she doesn't know, combine with other stressors to make her trip difficult and that's before the unexpected and potentially dangerous things begin to happen!

This is a good story; I think the reader is expected to work out 'whodunit' before Ava, which increases your involvement in her and her friends' danger. It was a pleasure to read about a police officer who tells people where she's going and what her suspicions are. This book proves it is still possible to read an exciting crime novel without all the unrealistic cloak and dagger stuff.

I was able to read an advanced copy of this novel thanks to Netgalley in exchange for an unbiased review and recommend it for anyone who enjoys a psychological thriller with its origins in the past.

Fifteen years ago Ellen Smith vanished from the woods near her small Welsh village. Never to be seen again. Eight people were in the woods that night: eight splintered lives, eight people hiding a terrible secret. But who can remember the truth?

Now, Ellen’s best friend, Detective Ava Cole is all grown up back in the village where it all began, and everyone is asking the same question.
What really happened to Ellen?

Filled with shocking discoveries and traumatic memories this fast paced thriller is perfect for fans of Friend Request and Close to Home.
I loved Friend Request, so when I saw that Remember Me was being comparied to it I had to read it. I'm so glad I did, Remember Me didn't not disappoint!

Thank you #Netgalley for the ARC of #RememberMe

This was an interesting crime mystery but I didn't really get absorbed into it. I didn't find the characters compelling and felt the pace was a little slow.

A new author to me and I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the characters. I found it easy to follow, not what I would call a gripping page turner but nevertheless an interesting read.

Thank you to Netgalley and HQ Digital for giving me the opportunity to read this book.

She was only a kid when her best friend vanished without a trace. But that doesn’t mean that what happened to her is a secret, or at least not between the eight people who were in that Welsh wood fifteen years earlier. Now Ava Cole is an adult and she’s ready to find out what happened to Ellen, Ava is a highly trained detective and she won’t stop until she has all the answers, no matter what the fallout might be. This is a suspenseful mystery with a strong female protagonist
