I liked this book but I feel like they fell in love super fast and everything was very intense very quickly which kind of ruined it for me.

The ending was a surprise I didn't see coming.

Eva is so strong and brave. What she went through for several years and survived it and was able to escape is brave. She is beautiful in and out no matter what she went through. Her ex boyfriend is a evil and dangerous man. Can she hide from him forever? She meets Naz and she feels comfortable around him and wants him to be her friend. Her feelings for him grows stronger each time they are around one another.

Naz is a protector and works for special ops. He is hired on to watch her and make sure he doesn’t lose her. They start doing things together and his feelings are growing stronger. He learns things about what his employer has done to her. He wants to protect her instead of keep an eye on her. But will she still have those feelings for him when she finds out the truth? They have to get away. Will she go with him? Would she want his protection or think he is leading her back into the arms of the enemy?

I just love this book. Naz and Eva are amazing for one another. They are funny and romantic. Highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next book. J.T Geissinger you have done it again. Absolutely amazing.

I'm a big J.T. Geissinger fan, she's proven herself over and over to me. So, when I see her name, it's a no-brainer. Yes. Yes. Yes. No need to even read a synopsis. Which explains how I ended up in the middle of a romantic suspense story that ends on a cliffhanger. But, even if I had known, it would still have been a hell yes!

Naz is just basking in the sun and collecting an easy paycheck. Why not enjoy all the benefits of an island getaway while spying on a beautiful woman, right? He never expected to make contact with her, he was just supposed to watch her from afar and report back. Well, you know how the best laid plans go... they don't. When Naz witnesses her in trouble, he can't do anything other than rescue her. And once he does that, he cannot return to his invisible state. And once he talks to her, he wants her even more than he did before. But, she's not on the menu, she's forbidden fruit and he can't have a taste.

Evalina has been hiding for months. She's paranoid and lonely, but she's free. She's been doing a good job of taking care of herself but when she runs into danger she welcomes the intervention of the sexy stranger. She's very wary, but she can't help but feel safe in his presence.

The deeper I got into this story, the more intrigued I became. The chemistry between Naz & Eva is electric, but he knows she's married so he fights it. They are both keeping secrets and the suspense is excruciatingly intense right up until the final page. My heart was about to pound out of my chest and I kept sliding my finger to turn the next page in my Kindle, just in case the story would magically continue the next time I tried. I'm so excited to get my hands on the next installment in this story. My mind is liable to explode if I have to wait too long. The line forms here...

I loved the synopsis for this story, it’s everything I love in a story. Ex military man hired to follow a runaway wife, becomes slightly obsessed and then discovers that everything is not as it seems. After swearing to protect her it appears that there are still a few more twists to the story. Wonderful writing and characters and a whole load of chemistry between Nasir and Eva.
Action romance with a huge cliffie, I was not upset by this as I had been pre warned, but as anyone who knows me knows. I am not a fan of waiting, I’m much too impatient. I was however left a little heartbroken at the possibility of what is going to happen next. Watch this space. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. Another great book by Ms. Geissinger. This is a stand alone, but Connor and Tabby from Wicked Sexy make lots of appearances since they're Naz's boss. And Naz you might remember from the Bad Habit series as Barney.

Naz is a protector even when he just has Eva under surveillance as part of his job. When they finally meet is already halfway in love with her. Drama and bad guys ensue, and she finds out the whole story. Everything's going good and the BAM...&*%$#@$^# cliffy.....

I don’t usually like books that involve the mafia but author J. T. Geissinger focuses on the specially trained hero and the heroine more than the mobster. Dangerous Beauty is filled with secrets and danger. The characters are interesting even though we don’t know everything about them. And even as their secrets unfold I feel like there’s still more to them that we’re not seeing.
A hesitant romance begins between Eva and Naz. Both have their reasons for holding back but eventually lust wins out but there’s so much more to their attraction.
Good book but we’re left with a cliffhanger. I usually won’t read series books that aren’t stand-alone but I was generously provided a copy of this book. I’m rating it voluntarily.
I recommend it. It’s a thriller and it has some steamy love scenes. There are some sensitive subjects addressed but not in detail so it’s not too hard to take.
I look forward to the conclusion.

I have loved all the books I have read from author J.T. Gessinger so far! So, I was excited to read Dangerous Beauty. However, I had no idea that this was not a complete book. If I had known that, I would have waited to start it. I prefer to have both parts of a book before I read it. I did not appreciate was that this book was left with a cliffhanger. There was nothing in the summary that this is part 1.

I am usually not a real fan of the whole hidden agenda storyline, but overall I did enjoy this story. Eva was running from an abusive relationship and Naz was hired to trail and keep tabs on her by her alleged husband. It was so heartbreaking to witness Eva starting to fall for Naz and anticipating what was to come once Naz’s true agenda was revealed. But even with that anticipation, I loved the banter and chemistry between the two. Their interactions were funny and sweet. Once Naz was aware of the true circumstances between Eva and Dmitri, his mission was to protect Eva at all costs.

When I saw this book was available on Netgalley, I automatically clicked the request button and just read the blurb on the site so was unaware that this was a three part series. Normally I would wait until all books in the series are out to start reading, so I was a bit upset when in the middle of reading the book I decided to read some of the current reviews on another site and found out it ends in a cliffhanger. When I finally finished this book, I have to say I really did enjoy it, there was action, suspense, lots of humor, great romance and the sexy scenes between Eva and Naz were hot. Like it was mentioned before, there is a cliffhanger, and I’m not sure what it was but I was really not too upset with how it ended. I was actually anticipating something much worse so I was okay with it.

Overall it was a great read.

This was the first book I have read by J T Geissinger’s and I was really impressed. I am now working through her previous titles. The characters are well developed and the Tory well thought out. I was a little disappointed, however, that was not the complete story and we are left with a cliffhanger. I would have much preferred a complete story or at least an indication of a sequel.

Nasir, is hired by Dimitri to find his runaway wife Eva. Nothing s as it seems though and it is clear that Eva has been subjected to years of abuse. Naz makes it his mission to protect Eva and gain her trust.

I had no idea that this was not a complete book or I never would have started it. I would have waited for the second part. I had problems with several things in this book. I could not believe that Naz kept semi dating her when even I knew that the ex was probably having him watched too. So he was purposely putting her in danger. There was humor in the book in the was they talked to each other but I just kept thinking back to how much danger he was putting her in.

Naz is a protector. When he finds out what Eva has gone through, it tears him up. I like this about him. Another thing I liked was the way that they were constantly teasing each other.
What I did not appreciate was that this book was left with a cliffhanger. There was nothing in the summary that this is part 1. The title states book 1, leaving me to believe that this is the first book of a series.

What Naz doesn't know is that the ex, Dimitri, is an evil crime lord who kept Eva captive for several years, torturing her and her family. The more Naz learns about Eva, he realizes that she is the victim and vows to protect her as their relationship deepens.. Unfortunately for them both, Dimitri will never give up what is his. Lots of action, suspense, and romance make this a great read. It is part 1 of a 2 part series.
