I absolutely loved Tripping on a Halo. It was hilarious. Declan Moss is perfectly happy with his life until he thinks that he has a stalker. Autumn Jones thinks that her life's mission is to be Declan's guardian angel. She thinks that she must protect him from death. Declan just wants Autumn to leave him alone until he starts to get to know her. He realizes that there is more to her than her craziness. This story had so many twists. There was definitely chemistry between Autumn & Declan. What a great story from Alessandra Torre!

It’s been awhile since I’ve read an Alessandra Torre book so I cant remember if she writes this way in her others but I don’t like it.

It was really hard for me to get into this story. To say the main character is crazy is an understatement for sure.

I get where she’s coming from but it’s a lot over the top. I knew she wasn’t a “stalker” but the length she went was a little too much.

There’s a twist that most people will see coming. Overall, there were for sure funny parts but this just wasn’t a book for me.

I honestly don't know how to rate this book.

It was mostly sweet and funny. Sometimes it made me smile. Sometimes I even laughed out loud.

But it was also over the top, ridiculous, and unbelievable. No real bond between the characters. It went form crazy town to love in a snap of your fingers.

I did love Autumn and Declan (especially Autumn as i found her endearing) but I feel like this wasn't their story. They deserved a different storyline that was still cute and funny but also realistic.

This is a great book!! It is funny and yet emotional. The characters are all likable and made such an enjoyable read. I don’t think Ms. Torre can ever do wrong. Great writing!

This is the 1st book I've read from this author and am now sure this isn't going to be the last! The writing is very good it kept me hooked to the story till the end and it's really entertaining.
Coming to the story, it's a short read and if you love fluffy romance, an adorable heroine, a handsome hero, grear chemistry and some humour to top it all off then you are at the right book.
The story is about Autumn who just lost her mother in a car accident and blames herself for not able to stop it. And after some turn of events she is in the mindset that she is the Guardian angel of Declan moss and starts to apply some really great stalking skills to save Declan from dying. From this how it turned to romance is really interesting. I literally laughed out loud sometimes during this book.
Finally i really enjoyed this and everyone should give this a try.

This book was so funny, sweet and adorable.

Declan Moss is a business man who keeps seeing the same woman over and over, essentially stalking him. He can’t figure out why - Autumn is such a fun character. I adored their families too! Autumn made me laugh out loud so many times. This rom-com was a fun read!

Crazy and adorable! When I started reading this book, I was wondering what kind of crazy plot is this, but as I progressed into the plot, it started to make sense. It was still a little zany but I started looking at Autumn as an adorkable stalker with good intentions, and loved how she was so irresistible to Declan. Autumn was a little crazy, a lot clumsy, beautiful inside and out, very earnest with her feelings and very generous with her heart.

Declan was living a regimented life, living by the numbers and the angles in his architect life. When Autumn burst into his life, she turned it upside down, and he started living a colorful life. It was funny how he initially saw her as a crazy stalker but when he meets her, he’s brought in by her serious concern for his welfare.

These are two adorable characters and Declan is the perfect book boyfriend. Protective, courteous, and dynamite in bed. Other crazy fun characters in the book is Mr. Oinks, a pet pig with a big personality and lots of pounds, Declan’s best friend and business partner, Nate, and Autumn’s sister who wanted the deets on all Autumn’s adventures.

When you think the crazy is over, this book offers you a couple of plot twists to keep you squirming in your seat. At times, the author crushed your soul, other times makes you laugh out loud. This was one crazy and adorable adventure with a couple of angsty moments that brought tears. Totally entertaining, totally recommended. I don’t want to say anymore because this is a book that has to be read to enjoy, it defeats description. This author is brilliant!

What a refreshing change! I loved that this wasn't your typical romance story!

Autumn is obsessed with Declan Moss..... not in a romantic way. But in a way that she is full-on protection mode, certain his death is imminent unless she, as his Guardian Angel, can save him. Thus, her obsession with following him, researching him, and basically popping up on him ALL THE TIME. So, of course, what does Declan think of this crazy woman? DUH, SHE'S A STALKER! Lol!

What a fun ride! I totally loved both characters. This was a lighthearted read until that certain point where the unexpected happened! Wow, did not see that coming at all!

Great storyline, great writing.....I recommend it!

I've missed Alessandra's story-telling, and let me tell you, this was the rom-com/unexpectedness of my dreams! I laughed, I swooned, I cringed, I was *shook*. I've never felt so many emotions while reading a book as I did with this one. I was just living for this book!

What starts off as an awkward, stalker/guardian-angel type of book turned out to be one of my favorite reads of the year and don't mind me, but I'll be swooning still all over Declan. That sweet, sweet man. And my heart only grows for Autumn and how damn amazing she is in general!

If you're looking for a quick-paced romance with a lot of laughs, a bit of heat, and a whole lot of heart-wrenching emotions, this is your book!

I've got to say, it's super refreshing when Alessandra Torre writes romantic comedy. She does it so well and she should do it more!

Tripping on a Halo follows Autumn who is following Declan LOL. She thinks she's his guardian angel, saving him from death. He knows she's following him and brushes it off until he realizes that she's more than just a stalker. This sounds so silly but it's super sweet and funny!

In true Alessandra Torre fashion, I didn't see that coming. The twist is fantastic and you get a real feeling of where their relationship is headed. Definitely a sweet read that I recommend.

What a fun read. I loved the characters from the start. It was a little hard to switch between first and third POV, but it was manageable. The storyline was unique and easy to get into. I loved how quickly I read through it, mostly because I couldn't put it down!

This was a very funny and emotional read! Declan and Autumn are the two opposites and Autumn has a very deep stalkerish tendency which comes from her 'angelic' power which demands her to always protect Declan. After many hilarious moments and some very strange dialogues, which made me laugh out loud, this couple had quite an emotional evolution. I surely didn't expect the final chapters to take THAT DOWNHILL! I CRIED! Rarely a book makes me laugh the sob my heart out.

But I loved it because it's Alessandra Torre and because I had a great time reading it! ;)

Ok, so to be honest this book was tough for me to start. I'm not quite sure why, it was written fine, the story was good. I just struggled with it. Not one to leave a book unfinished I powered on and boy am I glad I did! With Autumn the quirky would be guardian Angel and smitten Declan I just had to finish. It kind of starts out pretty predictable when there was a turn I did not expect at all. Que the emotions and tears. Overall a good book.

I loved loved this one. This is one you should definitely one click. Declan is sexy sweet guy. He thinks Autumn is a crazy stalker. Autumn thinks she is Declan's Guardian Angel and is in charge of keeping him safe. Autumn is super funny and she had me laughing. When Declan and Autumn actually meet there is a connection. Autumn doesn't want to start a relationship with Declan because her job is to keep him safe not fall in love with him. Just when I thought everything was going to be all peachy and perfect there's a twist I never saw coming. Gosh this twist had me chanting "no, no, no" as it was unfolding. The story went from sweet to heart string pulling in a snap. I so loved this one. It's a must read.

However, it’s hard to protect a guy when her popping up everywhere gives him the creeps. He runs from her every chance he gets as she continues to do everything in her power to make sure he doesn’t die.

The truth is, something was going to happen to Declan Moss. Something terrible. Something deadly. Something I could stop.


Full of humor and heat with a nice dose of feels, I couldn’t put Tripping on a Halo down. It was so much fun with its unique storyline and endearing characters, and it pulled me in right from the start.

Autumn is hilarious. She’s a complicated character who isn’t fully understood. She believes she is Declan’s guardian angel and therefore needs to keep him in her sights. I love that she doesn't care what people think and stays true to her mission. She’s fun and and I couldn’t help but love her quirks.

Declan thinks Autumn is crazy. The way he finds out her identity is comical and he can’t quite understand why he isn’t running the other way when he finally meets her in person. I loved seeing him react to her and the pull she had on him when he wasn’t quite sure about her.

"I hate to break it to you, but that boat sailed a long time ago."
"It's okay. My sister thinks I'm crazy too."


Even with their outrageous and unconventional situation, Autumn and Declan's chemistry is sizzling and the sexual tension is out of control in the best possible way. There’s a bit of back and forth but it makes the buildup so delicious and it wasn’t at all frustrating. They can't keep they hands off of each other and I love that they can't deny how good they are together.

There so much fun and lightheartedness in the beginning and then you are hit with a jaw-dropping twist. It’s emotional and heartbreaking, and ends up being the part where I really fell head over heels for Declan. He is sweet, swoony, honest, and committed, and shows such a wonderful side to his character towards the end.

Overall, I really enjoyed Autumn and Declan's journey and appreciated the ups and downs. Even when there was pain, there was love, and the epilogue brings back the smiles, tying everything together nicely.

She had saved him. She had createdthem. Shehad wormed her way into his life, and then his heart, and broken him open in a hundred different ways. Gave him love and chaos and color in a world that had always been precise angles of grey.

When a book starts off the way this one did you know its going to be a good one that you will be unable to put down and Alessandra Torre certainly did not disappoint me. Seriously a woman trying to be inconspicuous whilst carrying a huge penis is something that definitely amuses you and catches your attention.

I literally laughed so much reading this beauty. I honestly think this was my favourite book from Alessandra Tore so far. Not only did she bring such brilliant humour she also gave me all the feels. The emotions in this book also hit me hard but she weaved them well within the story.

Autumn, I loved this girl so much! she was so funny but I don't think she meant to be. After her mums death she finds a new purpose in life by trying to keep Declan safe after saving his life and now believing she is his Guardian Angel. Declan on the other hand believes he has a stalker in Autumn. She keeps popping up everywhere.


When I started this book I went in blind, not knowing much about it just that it was a new read from Alessandra Torre and I LOVED every single minute of this book.

This was a fun read with a quirky heroine and lots of OTT moments. I have to say it was a little slow to start for me and at times, I really struggled to stay connected with the story as it was a little too OTT for me but I am glad I persevered as the second half of the book really drew me in and took a real emotional turn that just got right under my skin. This was a book of two halves for me but overall I enjoyed it.

There are happy tears, sad tears and every tear in between those. It’s been a long time since I’ve laughed so much and cried as much throughout a book. I felt bipolar. My emotions ranging from extremely happy and excited to extremely sad and depressed.

Autumn became my best friend in this book. Her crazy facts and comical way made me love her and not wanting this story to end.

Declan is all man. Yummy, sexy amazing man. He is the ultimate dream book boyfriend. He’s the perfect combination. Emotional. Sexy. Lovable. I just love him.

Autumn fought him tooth and nail. Everything leading up to “the event” is perfect. I can’t say more. I’m crying too much to do so.

Tripping on a Halo is a book I didn’t know I needed to read until I did. Now don’t confuse this with me not wanting to read it because I did. Overly so. It’s an Alessandra Torre book and anything she writes is gold. This book, Tripping on a Halo, is extremely emotional. It’s happy, sad, comical and heart shattering all in one. There’s even a little bit of suspense. You truly don’t understand Autumn’s obsession until you read it for yourself. I’m so happy I did!
