I enjoyed Alessandra Torre's newest book, Tripping on a Halo, but I didn't LOVE it. The beginning was just too odd and slightly confusing. I wasn't feeling it, but it's Alessandra Torre, so I stuck with it. I mean, she wrote Moonshot and Love, Chloe. After reading those two, I'll never pass up a chance to read her work! This one ended up being a cute and sweet story with a surprising twist at the end that I definitely didn't see coming! I literally gasped at one part. Overall I liked this one and I'm glad I kept reading it.

Well let me start by saying I have become a huge fan of this author. She writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines that are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

Will Declan be able to escape the crazy, or will something meaningful come out of these two finding each other?

I really loved this heroine! She was assertive, strong willed, smart, and little bit crazy but those were her best qualities. I liked that this author switched it up by throwing a little wrench in their road crazyville and made me fall in love with Declan even more.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Tripping on a Halo by Alessandra Torre is a standalone rom/com with twists and turns. I love the author's writing and her sense of humor - Black Lies and The Ghostwriter are two of my favorite reads ever, but Tripping on a Halo is nothing like this two books. Don't get me wrong, I love, love, love the storyline and the characters and the writing is excellent, but when you expect a certain darkness in this story, you'll find only a smidge.

Autumn Jones is a 28 year old woman and she's a bit of everything. A bit awkward, a bit clumsy, a bit high maintenance and a bit stalker-ish. She has her sights set on Declan and believes she's destined to save his life. She fears his death.
Declan Moss is a good man, but he wants his stalker, gone, simply as that. But then he learns more about Autumn and she's nothing like he expected. He learns how bright and shiny her crazy is and he's mesmerized.

I had high expectations for Tripping on a Halo and what can I say, I was so not disappointed. I can't express how much I love the storyline and the characters. I connected very easily with them. The writing is more than excellent and I was captivated from chapter one. I read the book in one sitting, from the first page to the last one.

Tripping on a Halo is a swoonworthy, enemies-to-lovers romance and gave me all the feels. I laughed, I cried and at some point I was angry at the characters. The whole time I was waiting for the other shoe to drop, and oh boy, that he did. Tripping on a Halo is a wonderful book and I highly, highly recommend it. It's already on my re-read list and I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

I adored Autumn and her pet pig Mr Oinks. She’s such a bubbly character. Declan, I wasn’t too sure about at first, but then he did have a looney stalker following him around! Lol! I loved this story so much it’s so different and I love different!

Tripping On A Halo is a real page turner! There were so many giggles in this book, a little bit of mystery and then around 79% in everything changes and the author blew my mind! What an amazing twist!

I suggest going into this one blind, so you are as wowed as I was! Cannot recommend it enough! Five stars!

This is a fun, flirty book that was one surprise after another.
Ms Torre is an author I’ve read, but not a lot, so every book is a new adventure and Tripping on a Halo is no exception.
Entertaining characters and a unique plot make this a refreshing read. I loved both Autumn and Declan. Not only are they genuine, they both have great amounts of devotion that make them even easier to like and root for.
A small supporting cast helps move the story along and has me interested in what is going on behind the scenes.
Tripping on a Halo is a departure from anything I’ve read before and it was a trip I was glad to take.

That was the first thing that popped out of my mouth when I read the first sentence. Hilarious, witty, refreshing, with a touch of sexiness that had you craving more. Tripping On A Halo was the perfect comedic release that I was looking for and I’m so glad that I was introduced to these funny lovable characters.

Autumn is a girl who some would say that her screws aren’t really tightened enough. She’s a bit looney but she has a perfectly good explanation for being that way and no one is going to make her see differently. At least right now anyway. Hell bent on saving a man she thinks needs saving, Autumn inserts herself into his life in a not so casual way and from that moment, all hell breaks loose. Dogs and pigs included.


Its been a rough few months for Declan in his personal life and the only that he wants right now, is make his professional life better. Close to achieving that goal, Declan is within arms reach without any distractions and he knows that if he focuses hard enough, he’ll be able to get it. But there is something lurking in his background every time he makes a move. Or should I say someone….

This is a wonderful, sweet, and romantic read. It is well written and a page turner. It had a wonderful storyline and I enjoyed reading about Autumn and Declan.

I was thoroughly shocked with this side of Alessandra Torre. I really only stumbled upon her last year on NetGalley so I’ve only real 5 or so of her books thus far. I think what really gets me with every single novel is the variation between all of them. All her books are so completely different from her others. Most authors find their genre and stick to it, they change out characters and some back story but the books are so similar that you forget them as soon as they’re read. That doesn’t happen with Torre. Everything deviates so greatly. You’d honestly think her books will all from different authors, if not for her superb writing style. I think this is the biggest thing that makes me want to read her books... I never know what’s to come.

Which brings me to Tripping on a Halo. The story brought out this fun and giddy side of the author that I enjoyed way too much! Declan and Autumn as so adorable together and hilarious. Who can walk past an adorable witty woman who “specializes” in saving Declan’s life. This was a quick and light read that’ll have you giggling feverishly! Loved the fun in this story! Just delightful!

Another fantastic Rom com by Allesandra Torre. This was one of the quirkiest books I think I have ever read. Autumn, our fearful heroine, believes she is a guardian angel for Declan, our fearless hero. At first, he thinks she is stalking him but soon finds out exactly who she is, and this becomes the romance. But, oh, what had to happen to give us a HEA with this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it. If I wasn’t snorting with laughter at every turn, it was that i was reading so fast to get to the next page. A sweet funny read. Very enjoyable.

I was excited to dive into a new Alessandra Torre novel! Autumn is a little quirky. A lot cute and verrrrry interesting! I was very intrigued by this book. I found myself laughing out loud at Autumn's antics and I wanted to know how far she would go to protect Declan. As the story quickly progressed, I was completely hooked and wanted to know more. This book was different than other books I've read of Alessandra Torre's. And the only reason I say that is because it's a good idea to go into this book with an open mind. But I LOVED the twists this book had and I found myself holding my breath, waiting. Alessandra knows how to pull the emotions out of her readers and get her hooks into them. I devoured this read and sad it's over. Do yourself a favor and be sure not to miss this book!

Where do I begin with this review but I must say I LOVED every single page of this book. I devoured this book within 5 hours and still wanted so much more.
This book was filled with such entertainment I found myself giggling, laughing out loud and ultimately crying the last hour!
Alessandra has totally hit this book right out of the park. From the beginning of the book I was just having a blast reading and the descriptions in the book made my imagination came to life.
The main character is Autumn a carefree 30 year old woman who believes that she is a "guardian angel" to Declan Moss. She watches him, follows him and even steals his trash. LOL. Autumn thinks that Declan doesn't know that she is following him but indeed he does. He thinks this woman is stalking him and is "crazy".
The reason she believes she is his "guardian angel" is because 6 months earlier she was walking down the street and she got a massive headache which lead her to stumble onto a gate and let out a dog that jumped on Declan which saved him from being in the middle of a plane crash. Since then she would follow him to make sure he was safe.
Once they finally do meet he looks at her in a different light...she no longer is the crazy stalker but a beautiful woman. After that their interaction becomes funnier and hotter!!!
There is so much emotion and heartfelt conversation between Autumn and Declan you begin to cheer them on but Autumn needs to be his "angel" not his lover.
I can not get into what happens once they do start to know each other since I will spill my guts about why I cried throughout the rest of this book.
Be ready to laugh out lout and cry hard.
GRAB this book and while you are there grab a box of tissue.
This has been the best book I have read ALL year!!

I absolutely adored Tripping on a Halo by Alessandra Torre. This book was just such a delightful read and I could not put it down! I was laughing from the first chapter until the very end! It was adorable and captivating.

Declan Moss has no idea what to make of Autumn. This woman seems to be stalking him in an entirely unusual way, but there is something about her too. He knows she is from crazy town, but he cannot deny the attraction he feels towards to her. Autumn is a stalker with a heart of gold and a mission to keep Declan safe, even if he is not aware of it. Their journey is a must-read!

Tripping on a Halo by Alessandra Torre was just so much fun to read. It was charming and sweet and will leave you with a huge smile when you are done. Alessandra can honestly do no wrong regardless of the genre she gives her readers!

You just can't go wrong with any of Alessandra Torre's books. She knows how to write in any genre and you just know she'll suck you right in and won't spit you back out until the last page.

Autumn was definitely a refreshing character who had me on a constant lol mode. She was funny, quirky and extraordinary. She is definitely an interesting character and one that will be hard to forget.

Declan, that man really pulled me in from the moment I started this book. He was so captivating and I loved him and his personality.

I just loved how the story developed between these two characters. It put me in a happy mood and with a big ol smile on my face at the end.

Be prepared. And when I say prepared, be prepared to laugh your butt off and then cry your eyes out. This book is definitely chock full of all kinds of emotions.

I will be honest, at first, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was hoping that Autumn wasn't an actual angel. I tend to not get into the supernatural books so much. I think even if she had been, it wouldn't have made a difference with this book as far as me liking it. There wasn't anyway to not enjoy this story.

I adored the characters so much. It's impossible to not fall in love with them once the story really gets going. I devoured this unique, funny, heartbreaking, loving story from start to finish. The character development and connections made this story. 

If you are looking for a sweet, funny, fast-paced read, this one is definitely a book for you. I can't think of a single person who wouldn't enjoy this one!

I’ve probably described with this word every single release I’ve read by Alessandra Torre but it doesn’t make it any less true: unique. This woman always surprises with her originality and the surprises and twists you do not expect that make story even a more amazing experience. Can you tell how much I enjoyed this book? Well done, Alessandra!

So, Tripping on a Halo is this author’s newest standalone release and if you have read Alessandra’s books before, this one has a similar feel to Love, Chloe. This is on the lighter, romcom side of Alessandra’s works. This is the story of Autumn Jones, a very peculiar woman who believes is the guardian angel of hot architect Declan Moss. However, Declan is not feeling it, he thinks Autumn is stalking him (which is understandable lol). Of course, everything changes when they actually meet in person and sparks start flying.

“I don’t know what I told you last night, after whatever voodoo magic your body unleashed, but I’m not having a bodyguard. And I’m not sharing my schedule or notifying you of travel arrangements.”

Oh God, this novel was so quirky and so freaking entertaining! Autumn is such an unusual heroine and that is what makes Tripping on a Halo a great read. She is kind of obsessed with protecting Declan and she uses the most hilarious ways to do it. Declan, during one of those ways, discovers who his “stalker” is and everything gets even better when they meet. Yes, Autumn continues with her priority of saving Declan from harm but that also gets mixed with the off-the-charts chemistry between them.

In that moment, I didn’t want to protect Declan Moss. I wanted him to want me. To take my heart as his own. I wanted to feel, and be unafraid, and to trust in him to protect me.

Declan is decided to seduce her and he will succeed no matter what. An unconventional love story starts and the rest is history! This story is also unique because of the surprises and twist Alessandra throws along the way. I mean, Autumn has an adorable pig as a pet called Mr. Oinks! And the story even has time to make us emotional with everything that happens towards the end.. I am not spoiling anything because it’s what makes this story so especial. And I absolutely loved the ending!

Therefore, my rating for Tripping on a Halo is 4.5 STARS because Alessandra, again, has this unique writing that kept me hooked to this story and its exotic characters. I loved Autumn and Declan together, they were hilarious, quirky and oh-so-sexy! I also loved all the feels towards the end. So yeah, if you are into romcoms and you enjoy Alessandra Torre’s fantastic writing style and characters, be sure to check this novel out!

What a fabulous book!! Had me laughing throughout, albeit wiping tears also at times. Alessandra just shows her glorious colours of versatility in this off-the-beaten-path, very original, very unique love story between a guy in hypothetical danger and his self appointed Guardian Angel ! It also helps the readers that the ArchiHottie Declan Moss is drop dead sexy, has a sense of humour and is a people charmer. His life seems to be a step away from death....or so his misguided 
"Protector of Life" Autumn Jones thinks, actually obsesses...no no, she STALKS. Like her full on, life mission is to follow Declan and save his life!. And it's stretching a bit too far for his liking!

Tripping on a Halo has all the right pieces in just the right places for the perfect romantic comedy. It's original, sassy, sexy, silly and just a story that will pull on your heartstrings Alessandra Torre has written a story that I won't forget anytime soon and I know that so many people will fall head over heels in love with these two. I don't want to give any of the story away but this story will blow your mind away!!! Well here is a taste of the story to entice you::: Autumn really believes that she is Declan's guardian angel-- believes this to the point that she stalked him/ "guarded" him for 4 months . Autumn thinks Dec doesn't even see her -He Does see her but since she doesn't pose a threat/ interfere in his life in Dec sort of accepts her. Suddenly circumstances force them to end up coming face to face, and OMG it is Amazing!!! The story just gets better from here on out. Autumn and Declan's relationship is beautiful, sizzling, crazy and full of Feels!! I dont want to give any spoilers away but know that Ms. Torre has written a compelling read with moving, heartfelt main characters. Autumn and Declan met under unusual circumstances and from then on, they had me laughing until my rib muscles hurt.Brava Alessandra!

The countdown is finally over and Tripping on a Halo is Here! This story was so much fun, every now and then you need a story like this one to lighting things up...even though Alessandra trows a curve ball in there.

Autumn was a breath of fresh air, she was whimsical and flighty but she had a good heart and everything she does was from a good place, even if people thought she was coo-coo. Declan at first seemed to be a stuffed shirt type of guy but we soon realize why that is and let me tell you Autumn is the perfect woman for him.

As unconventional as a relationship between the two of them would be you soon begin to realize how great they are together and how everything has led them to this point. Whether you want to call it fate or divine intervention there is a reason the two of them are brought together and it becomes clear not long after they are together.

I love Declan and Autumn, oh and I can't leave out Mr. Oinks! This was a fun read with lovable characters that will have you rooting for them right from the start. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments so don't be surprised when one sneaks out of you. If you haven't read any of Alessandra Torre's books yet this is a perfect place to start, and if you're already a fan I think you'll be thrilled with this read. Happy Reading!!!
