Wow this book has all the feels. First have to say this book does touch on a sensitive subject. This one has become my favorite story of Tara Leigh. I found this one took me on an emotional roller coaster ride as both Dax and Verity become true to themselves before they are ready to trust the strong emotional pull between them.

With not having reading the previous books in this series, I did not feel lost or like I was missing anying. With that said I will be going back to read the other 2 books.
I highly enjoyed this book. Right from the start of when Dax and Verity first met there was an instant spark and a magnetic pull pulling them together. The chemistry between them was smoking hot and intense. Even though they tried hard to fight their attraction and the road blocks that they ran into making it hard for them to be together, in the end loved conquered all.
Highly recommended and you will want to to read it and find out for yourself how it all turned out!!

The Nothing But Trouble series was definitely one that got better and better with every book! Next up we have Rock Rebel, which is Dax and Verity’s story. It hits you there on the emotional scale and a story with real life issues that NEED to be talked about more. Everything about these two is just deep and resonant, they’re definitely characters that you can’t seem to forget.

Dax has always been a bit of a mystery to me and I’ve been dying know more about him. And his past was something I couldn’t wait to learn about because whatever happened to him defined his future. And it prevented him for pursuing anything with anyone. Then Verity came along and completely turned his world on its’ axis.

Dax might win you over with his bit of brooding, yet sexy persona, but Verity takes the cake for me in their story. I absolutely felt for her and everything she endured during her time in Hollywood, she was terribly wronged and the person who should have always been in her corner, wasn’t. When she realized she had an out, she took it and was just ready to move forward with her life and get that much needed fresh start.

It’s absolutely heartbreaking and it makes you want to punch the people who wronged her right in the face … maybe several times.

I loved everything about this book, the intense connection between Dax and Verity. I’ll be honest I say that Verity was a bit forgiving when it came to Dax because he kept changing his mind more times than I liked. But Dax easily won me over with his persistence to do anything for Verity. She had stolen his heart completely!

When it comes to interconnected series, I love seeing the rest of the gang pop up. Tara did a flawless job of writing a romance with real topics, never going overboard or exaggerating to the point where it took away from the story. I’m a huge fan and can’t wait to read more of her books!

I love me some Tara Leigh! Rock star romances are often a hit or miss for me because they follow a conventional storyline, but Leigh just made this stand out like she does with all of her books.
Leigh has this ability to make me fall for her flawed characters and I especially am glad that she lets them develop on their own as well as in the main romantic relationship of her narratives - Dax and Verity were no exception. However, this development takes a while, so the pacing was a bit off at times - still, the story kept me captivated until the very end.
I'm excited to read the other installments in this series!

I have a soft spot for Rock Star Romances. Stage Dive by Kylie Scott and Sixth Street Band Series by Jayne Frost are some of my favorite contemporary romances. So needless to say when the author Tara Leigh told me I could sign up to read this arc I jumped at the opportunity. And now I have another Rock Star Romance book to love... Rock Rebel is the third book in the series, and although I have not yet read the other two it didn't impact the story in a bad way. Much the contrary, I am dying of curiosity about the other boys and must read the previous books!

Rock Rebel was a very captivating story. Verity and Dax had my attention from beginning to end.
Verity was a flawed character, but also someone that was wronged in life and is trying to built her life back up again.
Dax is also a flawed character, and I think that is why those two fit together so perfectly. Verity makes him want to move on from his past and choose happiness again.
I genuinely liked the book, and as I said I will be reading the others. The main characters had chemistry, understood each other and cared for each other deeply. The side characters were phenomenal and I can't wait to read their stories too.
The book was however a little slow at times, which always makes me drop a few points.
The other reason for it not being a 5 star read is that I like my books to be a escape from the real world and this was obviously written with the #metoo movement in mind. It was well done and I appreciate both the movement and what the author tried to do here, it is just not my personal preference to mix fiction with the real world. Liking to admit it or not, when that happens I often 'zone out' in the middle of the story and don't connect to the characters as much.

The disgraced pop princess is in need of a major makeover, and when she signs up for Travis’ roster, she knows she’s in good hands. But when she learns that meets Dax Hughes, the rebel rockstar of the band Nothing But Trouble and one of Travis’s talents, may not be thrilled for her as their front act, Verity Moore’s comeback might just take a backseat.

As always, Tara Leigh writes beautifully and passionately. There’s not a book from her that I don’t love. Everything from Dax and his secrets, to Verity’s haunting past, from the band’s uphill battle to their staggering success, there’s nothing I wouldn’t say no to when it comes to rocker romance by Tara Leigh.

Rock Rebel is a rebelliously great story that has a great pace and flows well. Emotions checked, the characters thoroughly depicted. I have only positive things to say (and write) about this book and now I can’t wait to get my hands on mysterious Jett’s story.

Rock Rebel is book 3 in the Nothing but Trouble series by Tara Leigh and it’s an addicting series! Rock Rebel is Verity and Dax’s story and the story I was desperate to get my hands on.

“Tell me something true.”

Verify Moore is a former child start desperately ready to shed her image as a “girl gone wild” and start fresh. Her momager controlling clutches and her past mistakes are shadows lurking on the horizon as she manages to score Travis Taggert, manager extraordinaire to represent her. Travis is also the manager of Nothing but Trouble. She can’t mess up. She won’t .....but Dax Hughes. Sigh 😍 So tempting, so sexy, so mysterious. Lead guitarist, sexy rockstar, child prodigy, insanely hot and talented. What’s a girl to do.

“The man was a song I didn’t know the chorus to. A chord chart with missing notes. Frustrating. And so, so tempting. Damn it.”

This is her chance to chase her dream and make it big. When she's offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to tour with a band, she can’t risk it and give into the attraction. Their chemistry and pull is off the charts. They try to resist it.

“Yes, I was a cliché. I’m not proud. Whatever storm had whipped up between us, I was powerless to resist it.”

I loved how they break down each other’s walls. Uncover secrets, they both have so much to lose. So much to hide. Verity and Dax’s story was unpredictable and it kept surprising me.

“Her soft yielding to my hard.
Her sweet surrendering to my rough.
As if we’d been made for each other.
Two souls with just enough wrongs to make everything right.”

I loved how the author tied current and sometimes controversial events into the plot, giving it a unique spin. Making it raw and real.
Seeing the couple from previous books was the icing on the cake. I can’t wait for more!!!

I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. I am a sucker for a good rocker book.

Verity Moore is a disgraced pop princess. I thought Lindsey Lohan but Verity was far better. She had a momager instead of a mom who pushed her into succeeding at all costs.
Dax Hughes is a member of the group Nothing But Trouble. When he meets Verity on an elevator in New York there is an instant attraction between the two. I should mention this is book 3 in the series and I didn't read the first two. It isn't necessary but there were references to things in the other books. I will be reading those.

I enjoyed how Verity was a strong character and faced her issues head on. She didn't need Dax's love to "save" her. She was a bad ass all on her own. Dax was all kinds of sexy and alpha just how I like my men. Well worth the read.

I had never read a book by Tara Leigh before and now I feel like I've been missing out and now I want to go back and catch up with the other books in this series. "Rock Rebel" tackles a current issue in a thoughtful way, with a heroine that fights to move forward and a hero that makes an honest effort to do what's right. I felt for Verity, trying to move beyond her past as a child star who was taken advantage of in the worst way. The core of her story is sadly something many of us will be able to relate to.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I love a good rock star romance. This novel did not disappoint. This was a new author for me but it won't be the last time I read one of her novels. I loved Dax and Verity. Their chemistry was off the charts between these two. I loved the dialogue and the banter. This novel grabbed me from the very first page to the very last. I love when a novel can make you smile, laugh out loud, cry, and ultimately leave me feeling happy with a smile on my face. This novel did not disappoint.

Verity Moore, America’s pop princess, has a painful past she has kept a secret. What happened to her years ago made her trust the wrong people. The reality show hit star took a disgraceful tumble in Tinseltown, and she is struggling to get her life back on track with the help of Travis, her new agent. She has sworn off men and doesn’t need any distractions, including the sexy, brooding rock star guitarist Dax Hughes.

Dax had his heart shattered long ago, and vows to never get romantically involved with anyone in the industry. So when his agent Travis drops the bomb that Verity is the opening act for his band’s upcoming tour, he has to find a way to resist her. But as he gets to know Verity he realizes that she’s the real thing, and slowly his walls start coming down and he decides to take a chance with her. Everything is going great until a blast from his past storms back into his life, and unknowingly back into Verity’s life as well. What will happen when Verity realizes that her painful past is tied to Dax’s painful past as well?

A great rock star story that doesn’t disappoint! Looking forward to the next one!

Verity was a young actress who did everything her mother said so she could have her career. When a producer told her to get a part things were expected of her so she did it. When she is an adult, she decides she wants from under her moms thumb and wants to get into music. Dax is in a band and trying to avoid relationships after his last horrible breakup. When his manager signs new talent and is told they’ll be touring together. Will Verity get what she wants? Can Dax work with new singer? Will he be able to keep it professional?

Wow!! This author is so amazing she can take a story with sensitive issues and make it beautiful. We have Verity who as a child actor endured the not so glamorous side of Hollywood she is so over being used and not able trust anyone so she is working on changing her image. Dax is a quiet band member of Nothing but Trouble-but beautiful man who falls deep for Verity. Their story has some twist and turns but the author handles it all so amazing I loved it. I honestly didn’t think anyone would top Shane or Landon but Dax has stolen the show and my heart

Received in exchange of a honest review.
This was great. Sexy, sinful and entertaining. I love Dax and Verity. Dax with his family issues and how with Verity’s help he overcomes them. Verity with her past that has so much pain but she overcomes to end up in Dax’s life.
Dax was strong and broody. Sexy and talented. He was kind and loyal but also lost. It is Verity that helps pull him out of himself and find his way again. Verity is sexy and strong. Stubborn and a survivor. I love how she is feisty and yet vulnerable at the same time. These two are perfect for each other and help each other overcome so much to come out even more strong and supportive of one another.
And that song of Dax’s wow just wow. Those two have explosive chemistry and mesh so well. Even when they are both trying to fight it and see the other as exasperating. Only they don’t feel that way at all. They in fact like and respect one another. As they learn about one another that respect grows and so does their support of each other. These two are intriguing and alluring. They are kind and caring but also sexy and talented. They help one another through a lot and when Dax’ s sister is in trouble they band together to help her even when they are both angry with the other. Their love is faced with a lot of obstacles they both must overcome and it is a story that has you rooting for them to be together.

As I've heard about Tara and her books from my friends , I just had to read one and luckily I started with this book.Probably my mistake as I have to go back and read the other two books in the serie as it's more that I would expected for and I am in a way speechless.
First you have to know that there are some triggers that maybe some people can't read about them and involves METOO which I know it was hard to make it's way out in the spotlight and make everyone more aware of it and that it's still happening in this year.
I'll start by saying that this blew me away with the stronger than any heroine that I've read about,Verity, that had to go through hell all her life, with a mother that was her manager and pushed her to do anything and everything a child shouldn't even think about it.After a TV show failed she decided to get away from her mother and her life and start on her own as a singer as she really wanted all her life even if she knew it's going to be very hard and maybe the past won't leave her alone, which unfortunately happened.
Dax is the guitarist in Nothing but Trouble band that he found himself with in one night after giving up at his family musical group and looking for a woman who gave up on him and pursued another life for herself. He is the all in one artist,he plays any instrument, writes his own music and composes for the band and recording company.
When Verity land a contract with the same recording house as Dax band, they get to work togheter and even she will sing one of his songs without knowing that he is the one that wrote it inspired by her.Their attraction is undeniable and Dax is the perfect boyfriend, treating her with more respect and care than anyone has ever done it for her,and although both has to overcome their past ,there is a great relation building between them ,each one learning how to trust again and find a happy ever after with the ones that their heart wants (and body as the scenes were of the charts hot and you will understand why Dax is so perfect)

It'a a very hot book, with a lot of lol scenes, great banter and discutions, instalust all over and you just don't want to put this book down (even if life interfere )and also treats the topics around #metoo as well as her relationship with her mother.

While Rock Rebel is not my favorite book in the Nothing But Trouble series, I really enjoyed reading Verity and Dax's story.

I think Verity's struggle is very relevent these days and how Dax wrongly judged her in the beginning while at the same time fighting his attraction for her.

If you're looking for a great series about swoon-worthy rock stars and the imperfect women that fall in love with them, the Nothing But Trouble series is a great read over all, and this book compliments the first two books nicely.
