A story that is really good for around the Christmas season. Angelia is getting ready to head home to her Grandmother’s house, when before she leaves she goes by the gym in her town and catches her boyfriend with another woman. Feeling down in spirit she is now glad she is going home. When arriving her grandmother has a man their named Matt. He is helping her grandmother with some painting and things around her place because she has no one to help. Also this way it pays for him staying their while his home is being re-done. Angelia knows that her grandmother always guests for her place is a B&B it is just she was not expecting just one man. So she must go about her business of cooking and baking and try to put him out of her mind, but her grandmother is finding ways to put them together. She also must deal with the possibility of her ex and his new girlfriend coming to spend the weekend with them after she makes reservations at the B&B. Read this nice quick story about Christmas and family, people and overcoming the past in order to move forward. A good story with good characters.
A very well written inspirational romance. Loved the plot and the characters. The author is new to me and I enjoyed her writing. Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for my digital arc. This is my unbiased review.
What a great story to get you into the Christmas spirit! Eager to get to her Grandmother’s home for Christmas, Angela heads to the gym to get her boyfriend before the head out and finds him in a compromising situation with another woman. Devastated, she heads to her Grandmother’s house alone. When she gets there, she finds out that the B&B have a temporary boarder. Architect Matt is staying there while he’s waiting for a furnace he’s ordered for his home to come in. A matchmaker at heart, Angela’s grandmother Mollie, repeatedly sets the two of them up to be alone together.
This is a quick read with a good story line and a cast of wonderful characters. A heart melting HEA set during the Christmas holiday.
