I had expected quite a bit from this volume of Dollhouse, mainly because the series left me with a bitter aftertaste. In terms of story, I got what I expected, but for some reason, it wasn't quite as satisfying as I had hoped. You can tell that there is an overarching idea here, though, which is reassuring enough. (My feeling underwhelmed in some ways could be due to the formatting when reviewing comic ARCs, though. There are some kinks and tweeks that just pull you out of reader-space.)

Big fans of the series (and especially those who love the format) will probably enjoy this a lot, For me, the series has now officially ended, as I don't think I'll be patient enough to read all of these volumes.
