On “I’m Possible” by Jeremy Cowart
Fascinating autobiography of a struggling student who ultimately graduated with an art degree and built a successful career over multiple career changes as a graphic designer, web developer, celebrity photographer, and now hotel start-up entrepreneur. This is a fun, inspiring story. The anecdotes of Cowart’s volunteer work in Africa were particularly moving.
I wanted this book mainly for Miss Grace to read, but ended up reading it before she did! For EVERY kid who says "I can't", THIS is the book to give them to read! Jeremy's life has been filled with that phrase, yet he never let he determine his future, but trusted God to help him through. He took the opportunity to see a different path from the one that might have been blocked, or to see a way around the obstacle blocking him. EVERY time. That is something very important for kids to read- they can, WITH God's help! You really can't leave this book without seeing not only hope for our world, but rethinking what YOU have left aside because you thought it wasn't possible. It's a great book to speak to tweens and teens especially, in a way they are comfortable with, to see how God CAN inspire them as well! And since it's coming out TODAY, you can add it to their Easter baskets this weekend!
I'm Possible by Jeremy Cowart is an inspiring, informative, and enjoyable discover into the life and work of an incredible artist. Cowart took some negative situations and with the assistance of his family, began to see the positives in life. Using these first steps, Cowart develops his life and craft through his life time, becoming successful in all aspects of his life. Worth the read, I hope you will pick it up and give it a shot.
