This was a beautiful story. This is a new to me author, and I was pleasantly surprised by this book! I couldn’t put it down.

I voluntarily read and reviewed a copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

I tried really hard to get into this but I just couldn't stand Tess she drove me nuts, I love the alpha male books but this one was just to much for me.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher

WOW what a book full of questions, angst, and truth of what life can be for some. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I am very glad that I have had the chance to discover them. Thank you for allowing me to read this NetGalley.

The Entitled was the first book that I have read by author Cassandra Robbins, but I really enjoyed this angst-filled story
This book was emotional with lots of push and pull. The two characters have a long history together, and they are so passionate. I can't wait to read the next one and find out what happens.!

Dang... there was lots of angst and denial in their romance that was so powerful there was no way I could stop reading!

She knew she had met her soulmate when she looked up into his eyes at the tender age of 8. But things sure can change as you grow up and grow apart!

This read had me alternating between swooning and clutching my fists! What an emotional roller coaster! Tess would do anything for Reed, ANYTHING! But when her father extradites her to Europe and forces her to leave her beau behind, everything falls apart between the two lover birds.

I really enjoyed the back and forth between timelines in this story! It kept things interesting and helped give some perspective on how the couple ended up where they were in present day. The angst was high, the romance was hot and damn were these characters flawed!

The ending crushed me! I couldn't get to book 2 of the duet fast enough!

This is the first time that I’ve read anything by Cassandra Robbins. You pretty much have to commit to reading both books--Entitled and Enlightened. The first book in the series, Entitled, ends with the mother of all cliffhangers. The second book, Enlightened, picks up exactly where the first book leaves off. The author doesn’t spend anytime recapping what happened in book one so you really can’t read each one as a stand alone.

If I had to rank angst on scale of 1 to 10, I’d give this series an 11. Tess and Reed are soul mates, having met and immediately developed a bond when they were eight. They are part of New York City’s wealthy elite where everything glitters on the outside but is pretty darn dysfunctional on the inside. The book is basically their journey to their happily every after and everything that comes in their way.

This is a very dark and heavy series. It is intense and passionate and there’s nothing light about it. It is a page turner but at the same time there are so many things that go wrong for them that you want to give up. By the time you get to the end of the second book, there’s a good chance you are going to be emotionally wrung out.
I enjoyed this series. You have to know what you are getting into and like a darker book though. I look forward to reading what is next from Cassandra Robbins.

"Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy of this book, in exchange for an honest review."

Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet, sexy romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!

I knew from the first page that this was not going to be something I would enjoy. I was hoping for a much more complex plot line and characters that aren't cardboard cut outs of everything that is wrong with new adult literature. If I was new to the genre and reading in general this might have been more exciting but I can't help but feel unimpressed. If you like the whole douchebag hot guy who thinks he owns the female main character thing then have at it, but that is most definitely not my kind of book.
