This was a fantastic book. I love the main character Nina. The author did a great job giving the character a story that someone wants to find out more about. Thank you for allowing me to read this book.
Nina, Carrie and Lizzie are identical triplets. They run a cold case detective agency in Australia. Nina is also a police officer and biathlete. She and her sisters have been asked to go to Beijing to the Olympics, undercover to stop a bomb threat. Nina will be competing as part of her cover. She hopes to win the gold this time. She is having doubts about going as Andrei Strasinski, another biathlete and former lover will be competing as well. He is from Russia, but has duel citizenship and will be competing for Australia. It's been eight years, but when they run into each other at the training facility, the old feelings are there. He has been told by a secret agency that he works for to stay away from Nina or there will be serious repercussions. He is looking for illegal firearms and is undercover as well. When he is ordered to seek out the bomber, that put's him and Nina on the same side. He has secrets that he knows Nina will never forgive him for when she finds out. Training together puts them in close contact. They realize they can't forget what they had. Who is behind the bombings? Is it someone on the team or even Andrei? I loved all the research in this book. I had never heard of a biathlete until this. Looked it up and learned something new. I love the Farris sisters or the Triple Terror that they don't want to be called. mystery, intrigue and the Olympics. Will definitely read the rest of the books in this series. I received this book from Net Galley and Escape Publishing for a honest review. The opinions are my own.
