A great introduction to life, the universe, and everything in it. Easy and accessible while maintaining interest.

A cool take on the adult version of the book! It didn’t quite live up to my expectations but I still think its the best version of what it is out there right now. (Likely, I’m not an expert on this and haven’t looked at comparable titles).

Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Neil deGrasse Tyson's conversational tone helps make the big concepts of astrophysics more accessible in this young reader adaption of his book "Astrophysics for People in a Hurry." While it's still a lot to digest, I think older kids (and adults!) will be able to grasp much, if not all, of the information here. The pictures and sidebars help, and there's a glossary in the back. NDT is a great ambassador to bring space love to kids everywhere!

This is great and not just for Young People! Neil deGrasse Tyson is a total hero and making science accessible and relatable to all is a special gift. I have recommended the original publication many times and this will certainly be a repeatedly-suggested title as well!

For a young person interested in space, this book would be great. Neil deGrasse Tyson includes personal stories and his own way of describing terms that have made him the astrophysics interpreter that we all know.
Even though the information is "striped down" compared to his Astrophysics for People in a Hurry, there is still a lot to comprehend. Not sure it would hold up as a "casual" read but certainly would be great for young and old alike with interest and curiosity about the universe.

I think that all ages would benefit from this stripped down, bare bones explanation of everything. Many concepts were too much for my brain, but there is no doubt that this is a valuable addition to any library.
