Review originally posted on my blog with added content on Mikku-chan / A world full of words
This book just did not work for me. Ky and Azariah are "stranded" at the Paradise Lodge by their fellow band members, because of all their unresolved sexual tension - although neither has a clue that the other is attracted to them - and they have sex and become boyfriends.
It's "tell" versus "show" without any character development and there is just so much internal dialogue, so darn many words in almost a stream of consciousness style that it was hard to stay interested in Ky and Azariah, who read like high schoolers. Also they are apparently world-famous boy banders and the epilogue has them touring Seoul and celebrating yet another hit album. Sigh. 2.5 stars.
I will not be giving feedback on this title as I received the access to it on the date it was archived and was thus unable to download it.
Azariah and Ky are best friends and bandmates that have fallen out. The rest of the band decide the only way to knock some sense into them is to strand them in a mountain top hideaway cut off from the outside world. A cute story about unrequited love and having the bravery to finally come clean to the one you love. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
