I couldn't wait for this book to be released because I loved Ryan and Gray in High Risk and High Reward is a very enjoyable, well written, conclusion to their journey! Since High Risk ended on somewhat of a cliffhanger, I was pleased that I didn't have to wait a year for the conclusion. The chemistry between these two is still off the charts but I felt this second book in this duet was more emotional and heartbreaking and heartwarming than the first book. You get to know the depth of these characters and what makes them tick. And I loved the Epilogue!! This was my first experience reading this author's work and it definitely won't be my last! Excellent 5-star read. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

Ty (Ryan) and Gray are back in High Reward. The chemistry is still hot and heavy. Ty is working on his PTSD from the accident that took his best friend. You feel for Ty and everything/everyone that is against him. I love the fight in Gray and the way she stands up for herself. They are perfect together. Once you read this and the first book you will understand why. Such an amazing read. I couldn't put this one down.

I read and reviewed this book voluntarily.
Such a great ending to Ryan and Gary's story.
Ryan is a broken man, he breaks Grays heart but she won't let him see that, Gray realizes she can't fix him. When Ryan starts to heal will Gray take the risk and her heart again with Ryan or will she guard herself? Is the Reward worth the risk?

High Reward picks up beautifully from where High Risk left off, and concludes this duet in a smooth and effortless manner. The story continues its seamless flow and the author’s writing is precise, informative and most of all, entertaining.
There is plenty of angst and drama, and an abundance of powerful emotions and unresolved issues from book one, however Ms Aubrey has penned a truly believable tale of the difficulties that arise from deep trauma and showcasing how the decisions we make can have consequences that will haunt and torment us forever.
I grew to like Tyler more as the story evolved, and his character development proved to be heartfelt and genuine, while delving into the sensitive areas of PTSD and crippling grief. A well written duet, that I can gladly recommend.
