Steamy romance with a story that draws you in and great character development. Needs a bit more editing to remove distracting typos and grammar errors, and it would be a 5 star read!

I really enjoyed this paranormal steamy romance. This sentence before says it all on the type of book this is. Who doesn't love hot vampires. Once I started reading I didn't want to put the book down. It has everything you want in a paranormal book, Alpha Male, mystery, drama, steamy scenes and protectiveness.

I didn't really care for this book, not because it was poorly written or had anything particularly bad in it, but because it has tropes I don't care for. This is an urban fantasy (love) where the two main characters basically fall into instalust and bang everywhere. I'm not a prude and sex scenes don't bother me, but the amount of sex in this book was gratuitous, I feel. I also didn't care for the big, powerful, sexy man taking care of poor, pretty girl thing either. Especially since she seemed kind of badass...until she saw his muscles and crumpled and spread. Again, these tropes aren't to me liking. If these tropes appeal to you, then you'll love this. Go and enjoy. This just wasn't my cup of tea. Also, the plot didn't seem to have a point until the very end.

Oh my god!!! I freakin loved, loved, loved this book! This may have been my first time reading the works of Kiersten Fay, but it certainly won't be my last! This story is an amazing read! i loved every second of it. Did I mentioned that I finished this book within a day only? I just couldn't put it down. This showed how amazing this book was. With super sexy scene, chemistry and sparks were through the pages. I cannot wait to read more from this author. Where have you been, Kiersten Fay???? Such a shame I just found you. Thanks for NetGalley providing me this ARC in exchange of honest review

Keeping His Siren is the 4th book in the Creatures of Darkness serie by Kiersten Fay. I really liked the story and want to read more by this author because I like her writing style.

This book by Kiersten Fay was a hot and sexy paranormal romance with zing and action as it took the reader on a roller coaster journey of emotional highs and lows. Naia and Cortes were simply two dynamic characters who were destined to collide even though their social worlds were complete opposites of each other. The tension, the feelings, the heat, and the sex, were all hotter than hell and most enjoyable throughout the story. This is a very very late review of this book from Net Galley.

This was a good read with fun characters. Naia has her problems and it is great how she approaches each one. The chemistry between her and Cortez was believable and the story is well-written.

Naia has a beautiful voice thanks to being descendant from Sirens. She and her brother both work in a club and what little money they make is going to pay off the gambling debts her brother accrued from the mobsters. Neither of them seem to be able to make more money because everyone was hurting because of the human/vampire wars that wiped out a lot of people and made it hard to live or make ends meet these days. So Dante, her boss at the club makes a deal with her. He wants her to get hired at another club owned by a vampire and report back anything weird that goes on over there. She's hired as a spy and Dante says he'll pay her good money to keep the mob bosses off her brother's back and hopefully from breaking his fingers for not paying off his debt.

Naia tries to get a job at Cortez's club but he's so taken with her that he decides he wants to date her instead and he doesn't date anyone who works for him so getting a job is out the window even though she keeps trying to get one. Their romance and budding relationship is sweet, hot, sexy and carnal because he's a vampire and very much alpha.

Cortez is the owner of the other club that Naia is hired to spy on but he's nice, sexy and intriguing so when they get to know another better and he's very much interested in her, she knows she can't keep the truth from him but when he finds out she was sent there as a spy, he turns on her. All hell breaks loose pretty much after he finds out why she's really there and all sorts of other things happen right after that. I don't want to say more because that would give too much away but there are several heart stopping scenes.

This book was everything I could have wanted between a vampire and a siren. The danger of having the mob after the brother because he owed them money as well as Naia's sleazy boss threatening her to spy on Cortez was just the tip of the iceberg when it came to danger in this story. The twists, turns and crazy circumstances all came together to make one hell of an intriguing book. I read this in one sitting because I couldn't put it down. This was my first book from this author but it definitely won't be my last.

Disclosure: I was given an ARC of this book via NetGalley but all opinions and thoughts are my own.

i like the idea but than the reality was a lot darker and with way more upsetting things happening to the main female character than i generally like in my escapist fiction.

Keeping His Siren was riveting - I have read it twice now! Action (double entendre intended) - packed with each page, I explored Fay's world of vampires and supernaturals for the first time. With a powerful and witty protagonist faced with an equally secretive and magical partner (who is! extremely powerful), I was entertained and highly invested in this plot. Toward the middle, the overall plot became a little slow... but I felt it was meant that way to lull us into a false sense of security. Overall, wonderfully written.

This was my first book by Kiersten Fay, and I loved it. This one had a hot alpha male (and he's a vampire - score extra points), a strong female who could go toe to toe with said alpha (plus she's a siren), and sexual chemistry that was out of the world! Tasked by her boss to spy on Cortez, Naia soon finds herself caught between trying to pay off her brother's debt and stopping herself from falling for the hot vampire club owner. I loved the story line, which had a surprise twist. The characters were well written and very likable. The book made me very interested in the Ever Night world, so I'll definitely be checking the next book.

This is the fourth book in the Creatures of Darkness series by Kiersten Fay.

This is a paranormal romance between a vampire and a siren.I would call it a paranormal romantic suspense book. This title really draws you in as you follow Naia into the club owned by the mysterious Cortez. Naia needs money to pay off her brother’s debt and the only way to do that was to take this job.

This book has a bit of a resemblance to the True Blood series by Charlaine Harris. We have a character who can read minds: Cortez the vampire, and a woman, Naia the siren, who calms his senses since for some reason he cannot read her mind. So, if you enjoyed True Blood, you will definitely like this.

I spent a lot of the book impatiently waiting to see what would happen when Cortez learned that Naia was spying on him for his competition. It turns out to be even worse than either Naia or Cortez imagined when the vampire council is called in to investigate Cortez. He was set up perfectly.

I am curious to read more books in this series since I am not sure if the same characters move from book to book. Definitely a winner in the paranormal romance department. You get enough of the sexy to appease those who like that and enough of the story/mystery/suspense to appease the rest of us.

If you like romantic suspense, try this out. If you like paranormal, this is one you will want to pick up.

I received this as an ARC (Advanced Reader Copy) in return for an honest review. I thank NetGalley, the publisher and the author for allowing me to read this title.

This was a fast and sexy read. It is entertaining enough while you are reading it but not so much that it will annoy you for having to go do other things. Once I put down the book I didn’t have the urge to come back to it asap.

Although there is some sort of a plot, the main story circles around Naia and Cortez’ sex life. The sex is HOT, there is no denying it. From the moment they meet they get straight to it without wasting any time. While I loved the sex scenes, I personally need some type of a build up and a good plot to go along with the sex. Naia is actually a Siren who can lure men to their deaths and I do wish this had been explored a bit more in the story.

The first half of the book is Naia and Cortez in an island getting their freak on every day, and when they are not doing that Naia is obsessing over the secret she is keeping from Cortez. She plays the same thoughts in a constant loop so after a while I started skimming. The second half of the book is better because once they get back to the city more things start to happen making the story a bit more interesting.

If you are looking for fast and easy read with hot scenes this is a good book for that.

I found this to be an interesting book with the contents relevant to the genre providing intriguing details and -being true to form. Definitely a must read. A pleasant read.

This book was fun to read! It was hot and steamy and everything I needed as a distraction from my day to day life!

Sadly, this one to me felt like a mess. It needed better editing and a little rewriting. It didn't keep my attention at all and just felt like it was all over the place. It was lacking in plot and feels and just pretty much everything and I have no idea why I kept reading it.

Let's face it, I'm TOTALLY late to the game. Not only is this book over a year old, but the series started earlier than that. So why am I so late? Beats me. But I found this on NetGalley and couldn't resist. To be honest, I'm glad I waited. This seems to be the book that collaborates ALL of the installations in to one book. So yeah, this is basically three books in one. SCORE!!!

Naia is pretty much screwed. Why? Because she's caught between a rock and seriously attraction hard place. Her brother is in financial trouble with the absolute wrong people and her current boss seems to know it. So he offers her a chance to spy on a competitor, earning her a hefty sum that could save her bro. But once she meets the competitor, the money just doesn't seem worth it. Too bad it's too late anyway...

Cortez is the owner of the best night club in town and Sire to his clan. Everyone seems to want to work at his club, but he follows strict personal rules. So when Naia waltzes in searching for a job, the answer is a quick no. But not for the reasons you might think. In fact, he's not even 100% sure the reasons until it's too late.

Like I mentioned before, this book is all three installations of this series put together. Funny, because when I read this, I didn't know that. But it all makes sense now because there were times when I felt like I finished one story just to start another. Not that I'm complaining, it just makes sense now.

The chemistry between Cortez and Naia is off the charts smokin hot. I mean, hello, vampire. The story line was intriguing throughout and kept me glued to the pages as well. But it was the relationships between the clan members, Naia and even her brother that warmed my heart. The banter between them was refreshing and added to the effect of the overall story. All in all, this was a perfect way to enjoy the entire series in one sitting.

**Disclaimer: I was given an e-ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.**

I wasn’t able to finish the book, but did have some pros and cons listed.

PROS:
+ vampires owning bars reminds me of true blood /sookie stackhouse

+ I like the idea of a modernized siren where you can see them performing on stage (albeit this story has the main character singing st a seedy gentleman's bar).

CONS:
- so far, 5-10% of the book has been pages of the main character “telling” the story. I’m zoning out about her relationship with Cole, the vampire/human war, and her grandmother? This is all within the span of 4 pages and I keep getting confused.

- also, with the main character telling us what’s going on or what had happened up to this point, there are no transitions so that you know when we’re coming back to the present. I had to reread passages a few times.

This review is not going to be long. I am not a huge fan of a review rehashing the entire plot and spoiling it for everyone.

This is the first book by Kiersten Fay that I have read. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Her style of writing. keeps you interested and waiting for more. I cannot wait to read more of her books.

I received an ARC of this book to read through NetGalley in exchange for a fair review.
