The book’s description and cover caught my attention but after reading the first 25% of the book I just had to stop. I rolled my eyes so hard from time to time I feared they will pop right out. I don’t mind when there is sex in my books but constantly talking about how the main character can’t get any was just too much. I didn’t even get to the part where Lucifer shows up even though he was my main reason of requesting this book.
Some parts of the story didn’t make sense and were confusing.
Thank you to NetGalley for my copy.
I started reading it twice but it was just too silly, the main character is an angel who gets send down to earth to complete a mission by God. The best character was Lucifer who was quite funny but I didn't finish it.
Once I finished reading Winged, I still couldn't figure out which genre to place it in. I also quite enjoyed reading it as well...it was entertaining. The premise and story is new (I haven't read a book similar to this before), the writing is good and smooth and the plot moves quickly. My favourite character was shockingly (and don't judge me!!) Lucifer :P.
Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for this ARC.
Winged had an interesting synopsis, but the story fell flat for me. I found it odd and confusing. I didn't connect with this story at all. I skimmed through this one. Unfortunately, not for me. Thanks to NetGalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.
Wow this was not for me, I didn't enjoy the writting style and I found it confusing at times.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher
Where to begin....ari is an angel (kind of?) and is sent to earth to complete a mission from god.
I spent much of my time reading this rolling my eyes and trying to understand what was actually Happening in the story 😏
Firstly Ari is completely sex crazed and spends most of the first few chapters telling us how despite living 3 past lives she’s yet to “do the act” we later find out that she doesn’t even know what sex is and needs to watch porn to find out what to do....it’s quite sex orientated throughout
I didn’t like the way the story is written and the storyline was odd and at times really confusing! The author uses alot of innuendo and there are a few abbreviations throughout that were unnecessary. I still have no idea what P.O.S stands for??
Lucifer we find out is her father from a past life and I found that whole relationship weird. He calls her sweetpea...lucifer...just weird.
The ending I thought was rushed and I just didn’t really like any of the characters.
I received this book free from Netgalley in return for an honest review.
