Sweeties was a sweet graphic novel that I would definitely continue purely because it is quick and easy to read and doesn't drag on my emotions, so it feels refreshing to read something so light hearted.

This was definitely a quick and easy pair of stories. Perhaps too easy actually. This story dealt with serious subject matter but managed to make it fairly shallow as stories go.

In story one we find one sister has an eating disorder, In the next we learn that one of the other sisters has told a lie and is facing serious consequences. Both stories have the potential to make great points, but the writing style is almost preachy in its approach to the characters' voices and motivations.

Definitely not my cup of tea but it's straightforward enough that you couldn't miss the point if you tried.
