Northwest to Love is a good fit for readers looking for a heartwarming story about finding love and adventure in the great outdoors.
Piper and Aaron's story. Overall I thought the book was fun to read, and although at times her travel blog was skimmed a bit, I still enjoyed the concept. Piper is a travel blogger, who is going on an Alaskan cruise. Aaron owns the online newspaper she applied to recently, and together the sparks fly. He knows her, but she doesn't know him, which of course sets off an angry response once revealed. There is a stalker taking photos and posting them online, as well as a hacker to her sites. Suppose to be the first of a trilogy so look forward to the next one in the series. Liked this one, and the only main complaint I have is with the quick ending and wrap up. Seems a little fast, when there would be time for a possibility in the future. Otherwise, highly recommend this story and author.
Northwest To Love is a typical romance story. It's nothing special, and I didn't enjoy this one. Variety would have been better. Stronger plot and engaging characters. I couldn't connect with it.
Wasted my time reading this one! If I hadn’t agreed to do the review I would not have finished the book. Double thumbs down on this one.
Unfortunately this book fell flat for me. I was hoping for an easy romance, escapist-type novel but perhaps it was too easy as I found it difficult to connect with the characters.
This is a new-to-me author and her writing is outstanding. She paints beautiful pictures with her words. You feel like you are on the trip with her. I enjoyed reading this book. Thank you Victory Editing NetGalley Co-Op via NetGalley for the free copy of this book.. This is my honest opinion.
I definitely enjoyed Northwest to Love. Good plot, characters and setting. Highly recommend this book. I look forward to reading more books in this series. I received an arc from Netgalley and this is my unbiased review.
An interesting read - part novel and part travel guide!
I liked the main story and the two main characters, but felt that the whole plotline with the ghost was unresolved.
I've received a ARC from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Mediocre at best. There wasn't anything spectacular about the story's content, characters or storyline. There are some elements that some readers will fine enjoyable but to me it was something to pass the time with and unfortunately the novel just wasn't my cup of tea. You would think a crazy stalker will make it the novel more entertaining but unfortunately it fell flat. Also, I was a little annoyed by the fact that there wasn't any closure on the ghost that kept reappearing and disappearing on Piper's computer screen. Like let's just pretend that never happened! But I'm guessing since it only book 1, it'll be told throughout the trilogy. Fingers crossed!
