I usually really like everything that TokyoPop puts out and after reading the first two volumes of Sword Princess Amaltea I was expecting something similar to Princess Utena, which was dark and gritty despite being romance heavy but this didn't live up to what I was expecting of it.

I definitely enjoy the "Sword Princess Amaltea" series. I'm glad this one is also available through NetGalley. I enjoy following the storyline and the characters.
