Thank you to #NetGalley for this ARC of #DearWife
A dark, twisted novel that pulls the reader one way and then suddenly takes a hard right turn. The storyline is compelling and may be a trigger for some readers as it relates to domestic violence.
Beth has been planning her escape for the last year. She’s spent ten years with a violent husband and is tired of the pain and the lies. She’s covered her tracks but she knows it’s only a matter of time until he finds her. When Jeffery returns from a business trip his wife, Sabine, is nowhere to be found. As her disappearance is looked into, questions arise on whether she left willingly or if it could be something more nefarious? Things in the small town of Pine Bluff are definitely not what they seem.
This novel will have you questioning everything and everyone. Each turn of the page is a new revelation in one of the most intriguing plots to come out this year. Belle has created these incredible characters that are fallible and relatable. Great read. 5 stars

Full of suspense and surprises, Dear Wife is a gripping story of a woman overcoming domestic violence.
The story is told through the perspective of "Beth", the main character, police detective Marcus, and Jeffrey, husband of a missing woman, Sabine Hardison. Beth is on the run, fleeing from her abusive husband. Jeffrey Hardison is searching for his wife, who went missing and Marcus is trying to solve the case. How are these characters connected? I thought I had it figured out, but then comes the twist!
I felt a strong connection to Beth in this story, and was rooting for her throughout. I would highly recommend this domestic thriller to anyone who likes this genre.

Thank you to Park Row and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this title before it hits newsstands on June 25. Beth Murphy is on the run from her abusive husband. She’s colored and cut her hair, dresses slovenly and has set up some credit card charges that will lead anyone trying to follow her astray. She didn’t take a lot of money with her so she needs to get a job and a place to live. A detective in Arkansas is looking for a missing woman, who looks to be a victim of foul play.
Well Kimberly, you did it again. You totally threw me off the track and jolted me upright near the end of the book. This is the kind of book you want to read a second time to see how the writer dropped clues that led you astray. And how did she do it so seamlessly. Belle has a astounding future as a suspense author. She does everything right, from the characters you love to hate to the snaps back to reality. I highly recommend this title. I bet she leads you down the garden path, too, but it’s a fine place to be.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin for an advance read in exchange for this review.
Beth is on the run. She's been preparing for this for quite some time.
At the same time, Jeffrey returns home to find his wife missing. She has left most of her belongings behind, and her car is found abandoned. Police uncover troubles in Sabine's marriage. Where is she? Who is Beth?
A good, solid thriller that had me guessing what the twists were going to be! I did not guess the ending, which was a pleasant surprise. It's told in alternating viewpoints, and the author does a good job of not making it confusing, as well as keeping your interest in all of the characters. Overall a solid read!

Wow... I'll start off by saying that Kimberly Belle is a phenomenal author. Her writing is perfect and the way she creates the plots and the characters to go with them always leave me wanting more.
I have read all of her books and not one of them has let me down. They are always so full of suspense and twists you don't see coming. Dear wife I have to say is now my favourite book by her now,
It dealt with the realism of abuse and toxic marriages that woman everyday go through. Being in a abusive relationship myself it took me 7 years to have the courage to free myself so reading this hit close to home. You definitely feel the emotion and terror Beth goes through in this novel. I feel that it's a tribute to all the woman who has suffered abuse and have had the courage to get free no matter how long it took.
Even though the story dealt with abuse it was done so in a respectful manner. Everything about this novel was done perfectly and I can't wait to read more of Kimberly belle novels in the future.

O M G
I just read my new favorite book. That was one hell of a story with twists and turns and characters so messed up they make your head spin. I finished this in less than 24 hours it was so addicting!
I went into this not knowing anything about it and i think thats what made it awesome. Unexpected everything.
If you have this on your ARC shelf, read it N O W. If you dont have it, request it, buy it, borrow it come June 25th.
Cheers to Kimberly Belle for everything a psychological thriller should be which is unpredictable, twisty, and full of paranoia, murder and relationships gone wrong.
Posting on goodreads as well.
Thank you #NetGalley, the author and the publisher for my free Arc in exchange for my honest review. Honest review: 10 stars and a standing ovation!!!

Wow, oh wow was this a great book! I absolutely LOVE Kimberly Belle's writing. She definitely knows how to capture her readers from the very first chapter. I was really looking forward to reading this ARC just for the fact that Belle wrote it! The characters were well developed and I can say that I feel like I could connect with them emotionally. The ending was the best part of all! I did not see that one coming. If you are a fan of domestic suspense novels, then this is the book for you!

From the bestselling author of The Marriage Lie and Three Days Missing comes a riveting new novel of suspense about a woman who, in a fight for survival, must decide just how far she’ll go to escape the person she once loved
Beth Murphy is on the run…
Tautly suspenseful and genuinely moving, Dear Wife by Kimberly Belle is exactly the kind of thriller that pushes all the right buttons for me. While it has twists and turns that you won’t see coming, the novel is also a stirring examination of the epidemic of violence against women, in particular – violence perpetrated by their partners.
Told from alternating viewpoints – “Beth” (a woman on the run from her abusive husband), Jeffrey (who comes home to find that his wife Sabine has disappeared) and Marcus (the police officer assigned to Sabine’s case), the novel moves at a rapid-fire pace as Beth continues her desperate journey across the South, and Sabine’s fate grows ever uncertain.
Beth’s tale is the most riveting, and the one I felt most anxious to get back to as the book progressed. Interspersed with horrific, yet subtle details of the abuse she suffered at the hands of her husband, Beth’s story is also one of breathtaking survival and ingenuity. Beth, in the end, is much smarter than anyone may have given her credit for, and (without giving too much away), watching her become the cat instead of the mouse is deeply satisfying in a visceral sense.
With the search for Sabine intensifying, Marcus’ unraveling temper and Jeffrey’s deception, nothing is quite as it seems. After all, who is Beth?
And who is she running from?
While I did guess the twist, I didn’t guess all of it, and Kimberly Belle had me on the edge of my seat, reading straight through the evening to get to the end. This isn’t the kind of thriller that rests solely on the denouement – the journey there is equally as good, and worth the time it takes to get there.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Dear Wife by Kimberly Belle. What a page turner, the story had me hooked from the beginning paragraph till the unexpected ending. Was thoroughly involved in the lives of Beth, Sabine, Jeffrey and Marcus. Each chapter unraveled another layer of the mystery with many surprising twists. Highly recommended.
Thank you to the publisher, author, and NetGalley for the opportunity to preview the book.

Dear Wife is an exceptional domestic thriller. A woman goes missing. A woman is on the run. Alternating perspectives lead the reader down a path that is sure and steady.... all to find out that there are more twists and turns than you could ever expect. I could hardly put this book down. It was so riveting. I highly suggest it.

This is one of the best books I've ever read, hands down. I cried at the end, something that doesn't happen often. Toward the end when there was a complete flip in protagonists, I was so caught off guard I had to go back and reread. Excellent plot and it was handled in a way that was a wonderful surprise. I blissfully reread portions of this book because the writing is just so damned good!

HOLY CRAP!!! What an amazing book. I love this Author's writing. So far, this is my favourite. A woman (Sabine) goes missing. An abused woman (Beth) goes on the run from her husband. So many twists and turns and I love roller coasters in books. I did not see the ending coming at all! Brilliant writing. Thanks to NetGalley, Harlequin and the Author for allowing me to read and review this book.

I'm already recommending this book to every psychological fiction lover that I meet, and this book isn't out until June! I can't wait for everyone to be able to read it! I devoured this in only a day or two, and couldn't wait for the conclusion.
Sabine Hardison is missing, and the police are frantically trying to find her. No one knows where she may be, and everyone is confused- from her husband with his hostory of violence, to her concerned lover. As police dive further in to the investigation more clues are revealed, leaving the reader to wonder if she will be found alive or not.
Meanwhile, Beth is on the run. She's on the run from her violent husband and from the home in which she feels trapped. She always has to be on high alert, because one small slip and he will find her. Will Beth be ready if he does?
This book truly captivated me from beginning to end. I loved the entire ride! I did figure out the twist fairly early on, or at least I had an inkling of what it would be, but it was so incredibly well done that it made it even more enjoyable to read on and figure it out.
Reading this book truly convinced me of the talent that Kimberly Belle possesses, and I have purchased a few of her other books now because I can't wait to see what else she has written.

I am in awe how well thought-out the plot for the novel is, I cannot get these characters out of my head—so flipping fantastic! Dear Wife is a 5 star gem and I am so excited to dive into all of Kimberly Belle’s prior novels! Most definitely on my 2019 favorites list!

Thank you to net galley and the publisher for giving me the opportunity to read this
For nearly a year, Beth has been planning for this day. A day some people might call any other Wednesday, but Beth prefers to see it as her new beginning—one with a new look, new name and new city. Beth has given her plan significant thought, because one small slip and her violent husband will find her.

Wow!!!!! What a story to be told. I finished this book today and enjoyed it. That plot twist had me for a loop something I was not expecting. The characters were easy to follow through the story, which is always a plus for me. Sadness, love, determination, abuse, friends and so much more you will find in this book. I would recommend this book to anyone.
