Loved this book very much. It had just enough sweet, sexy romance and the storyline was great! I highly recommend!
Paper Love is a sweet romance story. The plot is heart warming and sad yet hopeful. The characters are loveable and endearing. It's just what I expected it to be. Very cute fast entertaining read. Thanks to NetGalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.
Paper Love is a good quick read. Loved the plot and the author’s writing style. Will be reading more of her books. I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and this is my unbiased review.
I like how Ben truly does try to discover what Joss is going to like and appreciate. His visit to her father – even if Ben doesn’t quite get the man’s sense of humor – also proves that he’s serious unlike the jerk who two-time Joss and made her skittish about relationships. Ben’s family is a hoot with sister Becky not cutting him any slack until she was sure of his intentions towards her friend. Even Charlie the Pigeon is cute and his plan is genius. That is one fantastically romantic proposal from a man determined to prove himself her hero and who makes the Hallmark channel look dull. Oh, and I loved the chapter header quotations! B
Paper Love by Aubrey Wynne
A Chicago Christmas #2
Short sweet love story that sees Joss Palmateer finding true love with Ben Montgomery.
How do they meet?
At a party her friend, and his sister, invites her to.
What are the obstacles?
She is leery of popular men – she was in a relationship and was cheated on
How does Ben win her over?
Patience and perseverance, spending time with her, showing her he is more than what appears on his Facebook page.
What does paper have to do with anything?
Ben has a hobby, origami, that comes into play BIG TIME before the end of the book.
The heroine was a bit “lost” seeming to me but eventually seemed to come out of her slump/grief, talk to her friends and family then find a way forward.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC – This is my honest review.
