Interesting travelogue of a woman who was in her 30s traveling during the 1980s to many places around the world. I liked how the book is set up with sections of different places, so if you want to read about Costa Rica, or about Mexico or about Spain (so many places and she doesn't speak Spanish) you can easily go to that section. Overall, I enjoyed this book, although at times I felt like she was remembering, not writing as though during, so at times if felt a bit embellished. Still, I would high recommend this book, and find it inspirational for women to travel more and see more things in the world.

I would not say that the writing is particularly stellar but the content is inspiring, especially for women who feel like they cannot travel alone.
