A hard to put down story of Lacey, a young widow, and Shade, a widower raising a young daughter. Pulled together by his dead mother, who appears to Lacey in a dream, she goes to South Dakota from Arizona, and moves in across the street from Shade. Sparks fly and banter galore, makes a fun read. A few touches of supernatural are fine, but a few things made me pause a bit in my ratings. The build up of anger against her in the beginning from her husband's family led me to think it was going to be more of a story. I don't mind that it wasn't, but the build up led me in that direction. Also, her attitude when she finds out she had been there when his wife died seemed a little out of place. Minor, but seemed unnecessary. Other than that, I highly enjoyed this book and author, and would recommend.
