This is just what it says, a guide to the books being released in the spring and summer of 2019. It could honestly have more info, for my taste, but at least it has a great overview.
So many great books to add to my TBR! I love these previews. It's a great way to get introduced to the new books that will be coming out soon!
A thrilling read which kept me turning the pages, characters you care for and just brilliantly written. Great novel!!
This was a great resource to know what is coming in Spring/Summer. I recommended to other librarians and collection development team.
I'm really excited to read all these excerpts; they are a real help for me to select which books I will add in my summer wishlist.
These look like really great titles- I'm looking forward to checking them out individually. Thank you so much for producing these samplers.
Thank you Publishers Lunch Buzz Books for this ARC.
I always look forward to the latest edition of Buzz Books and picking out exciting new releases to add to my TBR.
Thank you for this edition.
Buzz Books is a fun, reliable source for upcoming books. I love reading through the excerpts and the only downside is that excerpts, by definition, end sooner than you want.
Love reading the beginning of books that I am interested in or that are new for each season!!
There are books such as Roar, which I have been intrigued about for months. Definitely recommend checking these out if you ever need a new read!
Fun advance look at the writers and books to keep an eye out for this year. Gave me plenty of titles to add to my to-read lost—and to request on NetGalley!
I recently tabbed through the Spring/Summer Buzz Books and saw how many books I've read since it came out. Titles I may not have found without this resource. And two of them I was able to request, read, and review courtesy of Net Galley. Please keep Buzz Books coming.
As always, this seasonal release contains several books to add to my TBR list. I’ve requested a bunch of upcoming titles as a result!
This is a great resource for new books soon to be published. There are over 40 excerpts from several different genres ranging from new fiction from existing authors to debut authors to short stories and nonfiction. This is a fantastic way to sample these books and determine definitively if you want to read more. In my case, I have added several more books to my already large “to read” list.
Buzz Books are brilliant coalitions of book knowledge for publishing dates, debut authors and excerpts. I find them invaluable because they help me add new book titles to my library so it's not all one genre, as I'm wont to do.
I was quite excited about Scott Rozelle and Natalie Johnson's book on China, "China's Invisible Crisis" and Josh Levin's "The Queen."
The excerpts are divided between fiction and nonfiction. There are 19 books listed in the first section and about 18 books in the second section. The third section is non-fiction and there are 7 book excerpts listed here.
Buzz Books is always one of my favorite things to get on NG. I find books I would otherwise not heard of, and can tell from the exercepts whether or not I'm going to like books that I've been looking forward to.
These are nice summaries that provide sneak peaks at upcoming books. I really like looking over these.
I love reading the new Buzz Books, although it invariably makes my to-be-read list grow even more out of hand. It's a great introduction to new works and very often, new authors.
Too many great titles! This is not a complaint, though it may sound like one. If my to-be-read list didn't tale ,e into the next century already I'd download just about every title in this volume. Always appreciate the opportunity to sample a number of books and find new titles that I may otherwise miss.
One of my new favorite books! This author has such a way with words the pages flew by in no time! I can’t wait to see the next work by this author! This was such a joy to read!
I love these samplers as they are a wonderful way to find upcoming books that I want to read and to also discover new authors.
