I'm afraid I can't write a review for this book as when I went to download it there was no option for Kindle download and the Protected EPUB option won't work on my computer. I did read an Amazon sample but that only took me a page into the first chapter. The subject matter did get my interest and it's a book I may therefore purchase anyway out of curiosity but I can only leave a 3 star review on the basis that being unable to download the book I can't say whether I'd recommend it or not. I would have tried to contact the publisher for help but my review request was only accepted the day before the archive date and even though it's a short book (Amazon says 150 pages) I can't read that fast. I've read some other reviews which recommend it with the odd caveat so it would be beneficial to read those. Thanks.
This is the first book I have read by Gary Wilkerson, even though I have been familiar with his father, David’s, books for many years. I was curious to see if I would find this book as edifying as David’s, and I’m happy to say that it was.
This book was a wonderful source of inspiration with examples of how God’s favor, and how tenderly our Heavenly Father cares for us. On the other hand, it also provides a reminder that Christians often go through some tough periods too.
Thank you Gary. I’ll be looking for more books by you.
This is a very sweet and gentle book written with such precision to really touch people who struggle with understanding God's favor. I found this book to be very pastoral in approach and so I believe that it will be not only well received by many but transformational for those who read it.
This is a very easy to understand book. It is well written and makes you stop and think about how much God does for us every day. This is a book I will read more than once. Thank you Chosen via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book. This is my honest opinion.
