An on-the-edge of your seat paranormal shifter book with money laundering, landscape garden center, and a luggage mix-up that leads to a investigation that involves wallpaper and a sexy PI.

Will Natalie find her mate and a new pack in the middle of a luggage mix-up? If Brock Greystoke can keep her safe long enough to uncover who is behind the deception he might discover that Natalie will change his mind about his future.

A spicy shifter romance that is sure to satisfy that book escape.

I love books of this genre and this one meets the brief - but I must admit it was hard to get into at times .

Wolf shifter Natalie Silverton is in need of protection - she has crossed paths with a
group of dangerous criminals . She certainly needs help after picking up the wrong luggage and spending
counterfeit money - to getting lost , even with GPS available .
Former Navy Seal and wolf shifter , now P.I. , Brock Greystoke , is tasked by his cousin ,with making
sure her friend Natalie gets to the wedding - its the last thing he needs - the last she wolf he was
involved with tried to kill him !
Can he keep her safe from the criminals , can he get her to the wedding safely ?
Neither were looking for a mate but their adventures along the way provides for a entertaining read .

I was given an arc of this book by NetGalley and the Publisher in exchange for an honest review

I am not sure if the timing was bad on this, or there was something about this particular one, but I really found this story was hard to get into. Normally I devour one of these in no time flat and enjoy it, even if there are slow moments, but I can honestly say if I wasn’t so dedicated a fan this one might have ended up in my DNF pile. I have followed this series since the very first Heart of the Wolf novel over 20 stories ago, and while some of them have been slow, usually don’t have issues, because I love Terry’s writing and her characters are usually so interesting and her plots unique. Brock and Natalie were both okay characters with some fun characteristics that made them likeable. Natalie is Angie’s best friend and is on her way to the wedding when she gets a little lost, Brock luckily is able to step in and give an assist. Maybe that’s where the story lost me to begin with. I can understand a little bit of ditz, but in this day and age there is no excuse for a woman with a phone and GPS getting lost, so I found Natalie to be just a little bit annoying and too much a damsel in distress to truly connect with her I think. Brock was a sweet and sexy wolf to the rescue, but there was no balance in their relationship, with him always rescuing her and him being the big bad SEAL wolf. There was not enough depth to their relationship formed. I wanted more I think. The details of the plot and crime, even with Rock and Natalie working together to solve the criminal enterprise were kind of boring in the depth of detail, but maybe that was just timing as I generally enjoy learning about all kind of random details like this. The passion was a bit light until all of a sudden they were ready to mate then it was hot as hell and the mating was done. Everything was a bit odd and disjointed to me and I just couldn’t connect with this one in the end. I am hoping the next one drag me in like previous novels from the series have, again hoping maybe the timing of my life just keep me from being able to enjoy it. Terry will continue to be one of my go-to paranormal authors, but this one is a no for me for right now.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebook/Casablanca Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. I enjoyed this book. It got lost in my to be read like sadly! From picking up the wrong luggage to getting lost to spending counterfeit money! This book has it all, plus wolves, and romance. It's a fun read. It's got some suspense as well. 4 stars

He wasn't interested in she-wolves....and she definitely wasn't interested in him! Add a suitcase full of counterfeit money, complete with wolves willing to get their money back. You get an intriguing mystery, along with a hot romance!

I would highly recommend this title to any paranormal romance fan over the age of 18.

In the interest of full disclosure, I received a free digital copy of this title to review from Net Galley.

I’ve been a fan of Terry Spear’s books for a while now, but I haven’t picked up one of her books in a while. I’ve missed her world of shifters though and I’m hoping to catch up on her books soon. I was excited to read Seal Wolf Surrender before I began reading it. Here it is I could fall in love with Terry’s wolf shifter books again, especially since this one involved a retired Navy SEAL and a beautiful gardener. Neither characters are looking for mates, but they end up falling for each other when Brock Greystoke ends up being Natalie Silverton’s bodyguard. This is of course, after Natalie ends up dealing with some dangerous criminals who only want their suitcase back that she accidentally took from the airport. She was traveling to her best friend’s Wedding in Colorado and ended up in dealing with trouble and fears it will go back to her family.

The suspense of tracking down the criminals and also keeping everyone safe will keep the reader engaged in the story. Unfortunately, this book didn’t grab me like other stories have done in the series. The relationship with the characters was not very emotional and seemed instant attraction due to how family, friends, and specific circumstances brought them together. Especially since both characters initially were not looking for love and it was more of a business relationship at first with the characters. I would love getting to know them even more in the story. I did enjoy the storyline and how the hero/heroine are investigating the bad guys/gals in the story. There are some intense moments between the villains and good guys in the story.

There is one thing I loved about this book, and that is how Terry brings forward previous characters in earlier stories into her current story. Bella and Devlyn happened to be from her first book in the Heart of the Wolf series, and I recognized them right away. Their story is one of the reasons why I fell in love with Terry’s books. There was also Brock’s brother and his mate, but I need to go back and read their story since I never got a chance to read their book.

Unfortunately, this may not have been my favorite book in the series, but it doesn’t mean I wouldn’t recommend it to other readers, especially if you enjoy PNR and wolf shifters. I always recommend Terry Spear’s books.

Don’t get nervous about how many books are in the Heart of the Wolf series and SEAL Wolf series because each book can be read as a standalone due to them following a new couple. Although you may end up missing out on some previous couples stories together, you can always go back and read them and not get confused.

Story Rating: 3 stars
Steaminess Rating: 3 stars
Standalone or part of series: Part of series, but each follows a new couple. Previous couples in the series will appear in the books. Each book can be read as a standalone with no issues.
Do I recommend this book? Fans of PNR and wolf shifters I would recommend this book/series.
Will I read other books from the author? Yes. She’s one of my auto-buy authors.
Tropes/Elements: Fated Mates
Hero: Retired Navy Seal; Private Investigator
Heroine: Gardener; Business Owner with Parents

From the very beginning to the very end I was hooked.

My thoughts

rating: 4.5

Would I recommend it? yes

Will I read the rest of the series> yes - in fact I've all ready read the first book and own it as a kindle book and can't wait to read the rest of the series

Will I read any thing by this author: yes

What's not to love about a romance that has werewolves as navy seals and that they find their one true love in strong women that are made for them and are wolves just like them, even though I'm reading this series out of order , in fact the only other one I've read is book 1 I didn't have any trouble getting in to the story at all , in fact I would say that these types of romance are more of a guilty type of read for me , with that said I want to thank Netgalley for letting me read and review it .

Its amazing to find a book full of so much detail, and not feel the story was slow because of it. The scenery in the flower shop made it seem like I could smell them in real life. I could see every scene play out in my head like a movie.

The story between Natalie and Brock was great in that Terry did a great job of letting you know how they were feeling. From the beginning of not looking for a mate but finding that person who you share an intant contact with.

The respect the Brock had for Natalie in not pushing till he was sure she wanted him, I think is a testiment to something that is missing in the real world and even in books. Everyone wants the instant gratification rather then waiting ti see if its right.

I look forward go reading more by Terry Spear.

SEAL Wolf #6, The nice thing about this series and the whole Heart of the Wolf Universe that Terry Spear's writes is that each book is a stand alone. One thing I love is that the couple always makes sure they want to mate, like they can't live without each other before they have sex because sex equates a mating in the shifter world. The chemistry, the pheromones are telling them this wolf is a good match for you but in the case of Brock and Natalie the distance of where they live and the possibility that relocating isn't possible for either of them keeps them from fully committing to each other. I loved the plot of this one, it was exciting and kept you on your toes.

Natalie was excited to to to her best friend/ sister of her heart's wedding, Angie having fell in love with a pack member of the Greystoke pack meant Natalie would have to go to Colorado for the wedding and not having any extra time she had to fly. A belligerent drunk, who was also a wolf, caused the flight to be delayed. Unfortunately at baggage claim Natalie accidentally grabbed his bag by mistake. In doing so Natalie inadvertently uncovered a ring of wolf counterfeiters.

There was instant chemistry between Brock and Natalie and the threat that the counterfeiters might be after him has his protective wolf side come out. Not wanting her alone on this he volunteers his services as a PI to track down the bad guys and protect Natalie even if that means driving down to Amarillo, TX to do so. Along the way they discover how well they work together both in her family business of the garden center and his PI work. Despite both of them saying they weren't looking for a mate Natalie and Brock make a great team in more ways than one.

Overall, it was an entertaining read, I always enjoy reading Terry Spear's Heart of the Wolf series and the spin-offs series.

SEAL Wolf Surrender is the 6th book in Terry Spears SEAL Wolf series. Haven't read the others yet? Jump right in and you'll be fine. (I always put this information first in my reviews. It's the first thing I need to know when I read reviews; will I be lost and wasting my time?) This is one of those series you can enter at any time and still enjoy a fun story.

Natalie Silverton is a packless wolf who, with her parents, runs a successful nursery. That would be plants, not babies, by the way. Natalie's best friend is getting married, so she travels to the Greystoke pack territory in Colorado to attend. She gets lost on the way, so her friend asks hunky Brock Greystoke, a retired SEAL, to guide her the rest of the way. Brock was burned before by a woman and vows never to get involved again. That was before he meets Natalie, who calls to his wolfy soul. Natalie discovers that she picked up the wrong suitcase at the airport when she opens it and there are bunches of counterfeit bills in it. Uh-oh. No doubt the owner will come looking for it, so she needs a bodyguard. Hmmmmm...... Who could help her with that?

I really enjoy books with lots of angst and tortured heroes. However, sometimes I just want a fun story where the leads know they belong together and there's no angst between them. That's not to say there's no excitement here, because there is plenty dealing with deadly counterfeiters. Brock's sexy pack relatives come to help our leads fight the villains, and I particularly liked his cousin Shawn. It was fun watching Natalie discover that not only was she a master gardener, but she was a pretty good PI, too! Just a fun, entertaining story.

I received an ARC of this book courtesy of the publisher and NetGalley. I received no compensation for my review, and all thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

SEAL WOLF SURRENDER is action-packed with sizzling chemistry from the beginning. Neither Natalie nor Brock were looking for mates or the happy ever after thing but their voices touched something within from that first moment. Natalie is traveling for her best friend’s wedding and needs a bit of direction to get to her destination – enter Brock who is handed the responsibility and the phone to talk her to the pack lands. Their beginning started long before they set eyes on each other, even if neither was looking for their mate. Soon Natalie will find herself in dire trouble over a suitcase packed full of counterfeits and not her own clothing. A bag mix-up at the airport is going to send this couple on a journey to find the bad guys before they can end them.

I’m not afraid to admit that I love all of Terry Spear’s shifter stories, and SEAL WOLF SURRENDER is a perfect example of why I follow her every release. We’ll encounter a few familiar faces, put to rest some haunting moments of the past, trap the villains and watch an unexpected couple work their way to forever. This title is a great addition to the SEAL Wolf series, and the entire overall world Ms. Spear has created. If you love a good Shifter Romance, then have I got the book for you.

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

The last she-wolf in his life and ambushed with the intent to kill, so when wolf shifter and former Navy SEAL, Brock Greystoke is tasked with helping cousin’s friend get to a wedding, he has no intention of getting involved with her. After inadvertently crossing a group of dangerous criminals, she-wolf Natalie Silverton is in dire need of a bodyguard. Good thing Brock is there to protect with her but every turn – and play - is bringing them closer together and Natalie isn’t looking to giveaway her heart.

This shifter romance is sweet and sizzling with heat but also thrillingly suspenseful and exciting. Both the hero and heroine are strong and compelling, easily drawing readers in but neither wants a relationship so this romance not only sizzles with lots of heat and sparks but has the added bonus of watching Natalie and Brock trying to deny that they want to commit to each other throughout the story which keeps the relationship quite energetic and charming.

The suspense builds throughout the story regarding the budding relationship but also due to the dangerous situation that Natalie accidentally stumble into which adds lots of danger and intrigue to the story. The plot includes some twists and turns and quite a few heart pounding, edge of seat events that has readers eagerly awaiting each and every turn of the pages of this riveting romance.

3.5 stars--SEAL Wolf Surrender is the sixth instalment in Terry Spear’s contemporary, adult SEAL Wolf paranormal, romance series. This is former Navy SEAL, PI and wolf shifter Brock Greystoke, and master gardener/ wolf shifter Natalie Silverton’s story line. SEAL Wolf Surrender can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.

Told from several third person perspectives including Natalie and Brock SEAL Wolf Surrender follows wolf shifter Natalie Silverton as she ventures to her best friend’s wedding only to discover when she opens her luggage she has accidentally stumbled upon three million dollars in counterfeit money, someone else’s counterfeit money and definitely not her luggage. Meeting former Navy SEAL Brock Greystoke finds our heroine on a cross-country journey to ferret out the people involved in the illegal scam, a scam that will bring Brock and Natalie closer together. What ensues is the quick building relationship between two reluctant wolves, and the potential fall-out as our couple are targeted for attempting to take down the people in charge.

Natalie and her parents live in Texas but her trip to Colorado comes with a surprise. Not only will she take on an investigative role with Brock Greystoke as they uncover the who, how and why of the counterfeit money, but she will also find herself, and her family slowly giving into the possibility of joining the wolves of the Greystoke Pack. Brock Greystoke has been burned in the past, and was never intending to find a mate but meeting Natalie Silverton meant the possibility of his own happily ever after, a happily ever after Brock intends to pursue and claim. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

SEAL Wolf Surrender is a story of family, friendship, betrayal and vengeance; a story of illegal activities that threaten the territory and wolves of the Greystoke Pack. The premise is engaging and entertaining but there is a little too much telling and not enough showing; the quick building romance is sexy and fun; the characters are lively and energetic. SEAL Wolf Surrender is a welcome addition to Terry Spear’s SEAL Wolf series of paranormal romances.

Good story and very enjoyable characters, but my attention kept drifting off due to too many details. I loved Brock and Natalie's camaraderie. Overall very well written.

Thanks to Sourcebook Casablanca and NetGalley for providing me with an advanced copy of this book. All opinions are mine alone.

Natalie works at her parents garden nursery but she had to leave to get to the airport. Her mom told her to give Angie a hug for them. Her mother-Juliet- was probably hoping she would go out with some of the wolves of the Greystone pack while she was away. Her father was Connolly and a retired homicide detective. Natalie as were her parents and Angie and the Greystone pack were all wolf shifters. She was on her way to Colorado to her best friend Angies and Aaron’s wedding. Angie was more like a sister than a best friend. Half a decade earlier Natalie’s parents had learned Angie didn’t have any family of hre own and promptly taken her in as a part of their family. Natalie rushed to the airport Natalie rushed in the airport and had to stop quickly to avoid a little girl running to hre mother and a guy tripped over her baggage. The man could get up on his own but Natalie still made the gesture to help. Than she smelt wolf and that took her back. She didn’t know of any living in the area other than her parents and Angie and herself. He then realized she was a wolf as he cursed and said “Hell woman. Don't you ever look where you are going?” She smelt whiskey on the wolf’s breath. He was on the same plane but ended up getting kicked off. Angie wants Natalie to meet someone and ultimately join them. Natalie got lost and she called Angie who put Aaron’s cousin Brock on the phone. He offered to come meet Natalie but she said no just direct hre and he did and was there when she got out of her rental car. Angie was suppose to be staying at a hotel in Denver as she liked her own space but Angie talked her into staying at the ranch as she could never win an argument with Angie. . Brock told her he had been a Navy Seal but had retired and now had a PI business. Brock was a sexy wolf but after his last girlfriend he wasn’t looking for anyone even if it had been two years. When Natalie went up to get Angie’s wedding gift she found she had grabbed the wrong suitcase. This was the drunk wolf’s-Marek Jones- suitcase she could smell him on it. There looked like a lot of wrapping paper in the suitcase. When Brock checked it had about three million dollars of fake money in it. Natalie said if marek finds out she has his suitcase she’s in real trouble. They can’t turn over his bag to the guy or the police as he was a wolf. She called the airport and her suitcase was in the baggage office. Brock said he would go with her to the airport encase the man was there. Natalie felt safer with Brock coming with her. Marek came up to them in the airport but natalie said she had forgotten her suitcase in hre hurry to get to her best friend. Natalie thought Brock was hot. After the last guy she got close to and who had used hre natalie found it hard to trust other guys. Natalie asked Brock if he did body guard work and he said he had as a Seal but not as a civilian. But he said he would be hers and not charge her as this was personal. Brock was drawn inexplicably to Natalie. Natalie’s parents surprised hre and said they wanted to visit the Greystone pack and see if it would be a good thing to try to join the pack. They wanted to be closer to Angie and give Natalie a chance to be with a pack and maybe find a mate. Natalie came out and told them if her parents decided to move and join the pack Brock and her would start courting. Her parents were hesitant to leave as the night before someone had broke into the nursery but Brock figured all the security scared them off. He convinced Natalie’s parents to still go.
I absolutely loved this book. It’s been awhile since I found a wolf shifter book to read and this was a great read. I didn’t want to put this down and only did for a couple hours of sleep. I loved Brock and natalie together and how they interacted. I loved Natalie’s parents and how they take Angie in. I loved the counterfeiting aspect of thos and the author went into believable details. I loved how close the pack is and how they eagerly stepped up to help Brock catch and get rid of the bad guys and help Natalie and her parents. I loved the characters and the ins and outs of this book . I have a new favorite book. I highly recommend this.
