Warning: Don't read in public unless you want people looking at you because snort laughing and grunting may be seen as acting a bit out of sorts.

This book oozes Celeste's personality in every chapter. Even when she is being serious or melancholy you can feel her emotions through her words. I especially appreciate her warning of yucky content and happily skipped right on over.

Quick fun read about one of my favorite Instagram follows. You won't be disappointed.

Spoiler Alert: Do not Google BOPO

I was given a copy of this book by Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

This book will be of interest to current fans of Celeste Barber's social media presence on various levels. In Challenge Accepted! she writes about what her youth in Australia was like, details about her family life, and of course how her Instagram account came to be. Along the way, Barber reveals that despite the laughs, her life thus far has had its challenges.

I had never heard of this person and was looking for a book to read. that would help me get through cabin fever while waiting for spring. The description sounded like this was it so I started reading it. She made me laugh, she made me wish I was like her, if you have something to say, say it and she did. Another reason I like the book and I know I will read it, again and again, is because this book wasn't perfectly structured. It seemed to be whatever came to mind was where it went into the book. My days of trying to live up to perfection are long gone so to find this book, was refreshing, honest and just what I needed for my cabin fever but I also think it is one of those books each time you read it you could get something else out of it. This definitely is a keeper and when the book is released I will be buying it. Today is sort of a rough day but as my day goes on, parts of this book come back to me and make me chuckle, and I say Challenge Accepted and I can do this. It really did have an impact on me.

I really enjoyed this book. It was light and hilarious and endeared the author to me. I am now an unabashed follower of her Instagram and will read whatever she writes.

So so so funny! I love how honest & open Celeste is about who she is and how it's really society who has image issues, not her! Her humorous look at the absurdity of "beauty" that is manufactured in photoshop versus the beauty of being a good person is a lesson every little girl should hear. This book led me to her FB page where she posts some of the most hilarious "Challenge Accepted" photos I've ever seen.

Thanks for making us all laugh!

Thank you to NetGalley, Celeste Barber, Amazon Publishing and Grand Harbor Press for this ARC.

Celeste Barber's book is just as hilarious as her Instagram. I love how she's not afraid to poke fun at herself. The only bad thing about this book is that it's too short!

I have been following Celeste on Instagram for some time, so with this book it's nice to see that she is just as funny as her photos. She had me laughing with most of her stories, and angry on her behalf with a few others. She's funny and relatable, and down to earth. I enjoyed this look into her life.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.!

As much as I like Celeste Barber's Instagram feed, and love her parodies of stupid 'celebrities', I'm not sure it's worthy of a memoir ... it seems rather self-indulgent, and while it may be of great interest to her friends and family, I didn't find it particularly interesting (or humorous). Sorry, it's a no from me, but will keep on following via Instagram.

This is a hartwarming and funny book from an incredible woman. She has seen it all and tell us about it in a funny and loving way. I didn't know Celeste before reading this book, it was recommended to me by a friend, but I really enjoyed getting to know her. She works hard to bring positivity and realness back to the internet.

I went into this semi-blind. It was available via ARC, so I decided to take a chance. I googled the author to see just whose memoir I was reading and instantly remembered the hilarious parodies I'd seen on facebook. I didn't even know she was an "insta" star as the hip folks say because I'm not on instagram like that. I picked this up because I needed something lighthearted to get me through some pregnancy complications I've been having. What are the odds the first story is about her preparing for labor and hot damn did it resonate with me completely with my first child. I was in immediate stitches laughing, crying, nodding along, and totally hooked.

Each story was an insight into Celeste's life, childhood memory, coming into her own, motherhood, loss of dear friends, and you felt as if you were just at brunch or a coffee date with her. I noted that there were many cultural differences, and she did an excellent job explaining what this or that meant for her American friends. This may get annoying for someone more well-traveled, but even being a military brat, I have no real background in Aussie culture beyond what they taught us in school (which is probably just offensive stereotypes about a barbie and kangaroos). So, I appreciated that.

Boy were there some stories. And more stories. Some of them felt like they were in there because she had to be sure we knew every.single.life.story. However, they didn't necessarily add to the memoir as a whole and it got to be long-winded at times. Overall, this was great and in the style of The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo by comedian Amy Schumer. I look forward to seeing more work from Celeste Barber, and the cover was pretty awesome as well!

Like many people, I stumbled upon Celeste Barber's Instagram account when she started posting her photos and videos lampooning models and other celebrities. She is an absolute riot and most of her posts guaranteed at least a chuckle, if not a full blown belly laugh.

I can't say I was eagerly awaiting her book or anything, but when I saw it, I thought, "Why not?" I'm glad to report that I have no regrets. 'Challenge Accepted!' talked about her younger days and career-building, answered burning questions about #HotHusband, got on the bandwagon of some current issues, and talked about how she found herself Insta-famous. You can hear Barber's voice clearly coming off that pages, something which I enjoyed.

As expected, a lot of the book is funny, but she also hit other unexpected emotional notes on the way there and back. Behind this funny lady's funny Instagram is indeed a person who is real, not hung up about not looking like a model, and simply out to make the world a better place with her brand of humour.

Existing fans would probably appreciate this book.

"It's your responsibility to look after yourself."

I love Celeste's #challengeaccepted on Instagram and think this memoir is just as funny. It's an easy read and her voice comes through the pages. It's witty, incredible hilarious and offers many laughing out loud moments, while also touching on more serious topics. A lot in this book is about body positivity and owning who you are in general. She covers different moments of her journey, from bullying, to her acting and comedian career and motherhood. All with a great sense of humor and life advice.

If readers follow her Instagram page this book is a must read that will have you crying so hard from laughing. Celeste Barber is funny and her voice comes though loud and clear though her story about pregnancy and her hot husband. She makes fun of herself and her decisions she has made though life.

This is the book ever mother could write but Celeste Barber takes her background in humor making this book a laugh out loud book on life as a woman, mother and wife.

The author connects to readers though her love my body but also gives a different message when she refers to her husband as "Hot Husband." Which makes it ok so Woman to talk about men looks but it not ok for men to talk about women appearances.

You can not have a double standard in this day and age. Its all or nothing.

That would be the only issues this review could find. Go out and buy this book because we could all use a laugh,

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher 4th Estate. for the advance copy of Celeste Barber Challenge Accepted!

This book absolutely had me laughing out loud! Celeste barbers book was totally as funny as I knew it would be. A tad scattered at times and serious... I would recommend this to my colleagues and friends to read! She is the silver lining!

Just what the doctor ordered. I asked to read this book after stumbling on the authors Instagram account. I was confused and once I started reading this book I was laughing and giggling out loud. We are all in danger of feeling inadequate after reading everyone else’s social media and Celeste grounds you immediately and shows you how utterly ridiculous that is. You learn to laugh at the sheer absurdity. It was a well needed dose of absolutely hysterical reality. #netgalley #celestebarber

I first discovered Celeste on Instagram where she had mimicked Kylie Jenner doing a make up tutorial and instantly I loved how much of a breath of fresh air she was. Instagram is now filled with people who are all trying to look and be the same way but not Celeste. Once I saw her book on here available to read, I snapped it right up and I’m so glad I did. Full of LOL moments and equally has real moments. A must read!

Pure Laugh ourt loud Gold! Celeste is one of a kind and her words are brilliant. This is a look inside the mind of the lady behind those funny Instagram post. I love Celeste and think she’s great, so this was a fun read for me.

Honest, funny and heartfelt! I know Celeste for her humour, which definitely shines through, but I was touched by the way she said about her friends and husband. You can feel the love for them, and makes you love them (and Celeste even more).
It's light-hearted, but with serious topics. Personally I can find myself in Celestes philosophy, but I can imagine she's not for everyone. All in all a great light and funny read.
