As a first time reader, Mari Carr, blew me away with her story of family, friendship, love, passion, and hot steamy sex. Landon is a Baltimore police officer that follows the rules at work and in life. After a break-up with a long-time girlfriend he relies on friends Finn and his sister, Sunnie, a nurse, to help move past this relationship. One night after drinking a few too many Landon and Sunnie kiss for the first time. Each on their own realize that their friendship has taken a turn that they would have never thought could or would happen. Moving past this unforgettable first kiss, the friends find their footing again and begin to live their normal everyday lives. Again, fate has other things in mind, when Sunnie finds herself in the need of a hero. Landon is the person who comes to her rescue in more ways than one. Landon and Sunnie's story will have you turning the pages, smiling as you read and hoping for the happy ending they both deserve.

Landon and Sunni have known each other most of their lives. He's her brother Finn's best friend. Sunni and Landon fall for each other but try to deny until video proof shows up on line of them kissing. They will finally admit what everyone has been saying all along -- they belong together.

Landon and Sunnie have known each known each other forever. On some level Landon’s always known that Sunnie was “the one” for him; but how do you tell the girl that’s always seen you as another brother that you want her? How do you tell your best friend that his little sister is your dream woman?
Landon is something of a “unicorn” when it comes to love; he’s a hopeless romantic. He’s the guy that wants the wife, the house, two-point three kids, and a dog with the house surrounded by a white picket fence. He’s received his fair share of ribbing for his ideals but that’s just who he is. Sunnie on the other hand, not so much. The two being caught in a steamy kiss that goes viral makes Landon and internet star. Everyone woman want to be his woman. While he’s not crazy about the attention, he uses it to his advantage. If the women online see that he’s in a committed relationship then they’ll lose interest. He gets Sunnie to agree to be his “fake girlfriend”. With “fake dates” and “fake public displays of affection” he plans to make Sunnie realize they are perfect for each other.

I liked the idea of this book and I really liked that Landon was the actual relationship person because there are men out there in the world who want actual relationships. Unfortunately, I kept losing interest in Sunnie, and I think it was primarily because she was just too afraid of a relationship.

I always enjoy the friends to lover storyline and I liked this one but it just didn’t wow me the way I thought it would; there was just something about this that didn’t connect with me. The banter and the humor were there, but again, I feel like something was missing. Also, the pace of everything was a little off to me.
This is one of those books that, for me, can’t be read as a standalone. There were just too many peripheral characters. I think if I go back and read the other books in the series I might appreciate it a little more.

This book was a no brainer for me! I am a huge fan of Ms. Carr’s writing so I jumped at the chance to be approved for this book. It did not disappoint in any way. It had all the writing and romance I have come to expect from her books. It will definitely be one of my re reads soon!

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book provided by NetGalley.

June Kisses is the new book in the series by Mari Carr, I didn’t know this was a series, since this is my first book from this author. And there a five months before this one. This one follows Sunday or Sunnie and the hero Landon who are best friends and have grown up together. Landon can be termed a “good” boy growing up who becomes a cop along with Sunnies brother Fin. While she is a nurse and likes to live life on the wild side, who lives above the family pub

The book picks up on April Fools Day, when they share a drunken kiss and he saves her from a attempted mugging. Seems there’s more behind these kisses. Nether one is without a past though and it’s baggage. She write great steam worthy scene. Her writing flow is great, it ain’t staunch or bland. Will read another book from this series.

I received the ARC in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to the author, Netgalley and the publisher.

I received this ARC from Netgalley in return for an honest review.
Never reading any of the five books in this series before I started off with this book I liked this author and I liked having to be able to read a book in a series that was as sand alone. June Kisses has a friends to lover book theme and a best friends little sister theme as well. Sunday Nicknames Sunnie and Landon have known each other since they were young kids and have been confidants for years until one night where they drank too much and end up kissing. When they kiss their relationship changes forever since neither one wants to admit their feelings. What brings the two together is Sunnie being mugged and Landon saving her. They kiss and all of it gets caught on video and aired by a reporter. Since the video brings tons of girls and paparazzi following Landon he comes up with the idea to fake date Sunnnie. The question that gets them wondering is how faker are their feelings fro each other? This book is fun, sweet and a little naughty but such a great read.

4.5/5*

I never heard of Mari Carr until I saw her book on Netgalley, but that didn’t stop me from requesting this book. I really liked the cover and the synopsis sounded really promising.

June Kisses is the sixth book in the Wilder Irish series, but every book can be read as a standalone. June Kisses tells the story of Sunnie and Landon.

I requested this book with no expectations and I’m glad that I requested this book on Netgalley. June Kisses is such a good Romance. I couldn’t stop reading because I wanted to know how the story was going to end and whether Sunnie and Landon were going to be an item or not.

I really liked the characters, Sunnie and Landon, because they were opposites and I’m just a sucker for friends to lovers stories as well as best friend’s little sister love stories. And June Kisses gave me everything that I needed.

June Kisses was a hot and romantic story and I cannot wait to read more of the Wilder Irish books and the Wild Irish books by Mari Carr!

JUNE KISSES by MARI CARR is another outstanding story about the Collins family. This series is the best and I've enjoyed reading every single story! I never get tired of the stories and enjoy going back to visit them all! Landon and Sunnie's was one of the best!

This a beautiful story about finding yourself and learning how to openly love another. The writing will draw you in after only a few pages and have you finishing the book in one sitting.

There is the perfect amount of angst and romance to keep you hooked. I loved how the relationship unfolded slowly so we could see these amazing characters grow in ways they never expected.

I would suggest picking up a copy of both books asap you will not be disappointed.

I am so excited about the continuation of the Wild Irish series by Mari Carr. I fell in love with this extended family years ago and am always happy to revisit them. Sunnie has been trailing behind her brother Finn and his best friend Landon since they were small children. Now that they are grown up, they are all good friends, until one drunken night leads to one blazing hot kiss. Follow that up with a viral video of the hot cop and sexy nurse kissing, and you have a fun, entertaining story leading to a HEA.

June Kisses was a cute quick read. This was my first read in the series and I had no problem so it can be read as a standalone. It was a sweet friends to lovers read with one sexy as hell cop. Landon was so yummy. He totally made the book for me. Sunnie I liked but I didn't like how scared she was to be in a relationship. Sunnie and Landon had some really cute moments together. I laughed and smiled a lot while reading this book. I don't think I have read any books from Mari Carr before but I know I will again. I did wish the book was a little bit longer but still it was a sweet read.

June Kisses is the new book in the series by Mari Carr, there are five months before this one. June Kisses follows Sunday aka Sunnie and Landon who have grown up together as best friends. Landon is also best friends with Sunnie’s brother Fin. Landon’s the Boy Scout always does right and is the local cop along with her brother. Sunnie is a nurse and likes to live life on the wild side. She lives above the family pub in the Collinses Dorms. She is a Collins and that is what Landon has always wanted to be a part of. He loves every one in her family as his own. On April’s Fools they share a drunk kiss and then he saves her from an attempt mugging and kisses her again. Could there be more to these kisses? What will people think? They have a lot of baggage as well. This is a great story and from a great series. I love Carr’s writing and she writes great steamy scenes in this book that do not disappoint!

Loved it. Mari Carr writes a hot book, even more important the characters are people I would like to know! The book is centered on best friends, that kiss and things start changing. One is ready for commitment and one avoids it at all cost. This is their story, and if you want more, six out now and more coming!!! I was given this book to read, lucky, lucky me!

June kisses is the 6th book in the Wilder Irish series. It's time for Sunnie and Landon to get a story and I wasn't disappointed in the least! These two have been friends for a long time and now their relationship turns into something more. It started with a kiss is a good alternate title for the book, but the reason they were brought together as a romantic couple was a video that went viral. Sunnie and Landon kissed two months before the main story began, but both of them decided not to do anything about it and moved on with their lives. Sunnie even got a boyfriend in those months. Nay.. She broke up with him though when they were in his car and he told her to get out leaving her to fend on her own. That's when she gets mugged and Landon goes to the rescue. A reporter filmed the whole thing, the video went viral and Landon got tons of fans which was something he didn't like. So he suggested to Sunnie to pretend to be his girlfriend in order for the other women to stop harassing him.

What was unusual about this book is that the hero of the story is the one who is always seeking commitment and is not a playboy, while the heroine jumps from one boyfriend to another giving off the vibe of a commitment-phobe. I am saying giving off the vibe because later she admits that she knows that one day she will settle down, but now she is just trying to enjoy her youth. If she hadn't admitted that I would have totally thought that she never wanted to commit. I loved Pops and I hope we will continue seeing him in the upcoming books. He is one heck of a secondary character. And speaking of secondary characters we have Finn and Landon's bi colleague (I think his name is Marc). I do hope that what I read was a hint of their story and not just something that could have happened, but will not.

Well written friends to lovers contemporary romance. The smooth flow of the storyline and the gradual development of the relationship between Sunnie and Landon made it a pleasure to read.
