An interesting premise. I like that the setting and situation were different than the standard fare. Some of it felt a little like a stretch or too convenient, but I like the characters and I wasn't too bothered by those instances and found this a nice, quick diversion.

Evidently this a third in a series but I have never read from this author or series before. I think this can be a stand alone book. A woman time travels back to the Civil War time and experiences turmoil / romance with a little bit of mystery throw in.

I recommend this if you like time travel romances.
